Ted Ginn Jr makes the Superbowl

Fair play to the lad. I liked him here just think he got judged on his draft position and not his talent. Good luck to him, though I want Ravens to win cos it'll be a fitting send off for Ray Lewis.

Ted Ginn Jr's biggest mistake was getting drafted at #9 by Miami...

For a kid that avoids contact like the plague, he's lasted much longer than expected.

We traded him for Nolan Carroll ... probably a wash.

Ginn did very little to help that team make it to the SB.  Good for him at getting there, but he had nothing to do with it.  Was traded to the right team at the right time.

Ehh you could say that but honestly after the fumble at the 1 yard line that the niners lost to the falcons.. The falcons went 3 and out punted and Ginn returned it back 25 yards to set up the niners on the 32 yardline on the drive that gave them the go ahead TD.

Ginn is still an upper echelon kick/Punt Returner in the league so he does contribute about as much as Devin Hester does to the bears.

I never cared much for him, rather have someone who has the ability to do something else. Kickoffs nowhere near as big as they use to be.

Any man that returns TWO kick offs for TD's against the Jets IN THE SAME GAME has a god like status in my book until proved otherwise.

Wow ... The 9-7 Jets of that season?  Godlike?  Great game, but what else has he done other than ST?

I think to some it wouldn't matter if the jets were 0-16 that year......it was just against the Jets, period. LOL.

I'd feel the same way if joe schmoe picked off the only 3 passes of his entire career against Brady in a game....even if he never intercepted another pass ever again.  biggrin

As for Ginn possibly winning a ring, it definitely wouldn't be the first time we've watched ex-Phins get a ring.

It is being reported that he ducks into hotel lobbies to avoid oncoming pedestrians on the sidewalk.

Who here also just had this eerie gut feeling he was gonna explode for a Superbowl winning kick return for a touchdown at the end there, just to really piss all of us off.  LOL

And I totally thought of this post when he lowered his shoulders into the KICKER before going out of bounds.  You could almost see it in his mannerism, quick get out of.......oh wait it's the kicker.....i think i can do this........bam, ok, that was enough that was kinda scary.....

I just knew we'd be reading all offseason about the legend of Ted Ginn, Jr.  The story of a kid drafted in the 1st round much to the anguish of an entire fanbase, getting traded, and becoming SuperBowl MVP with a legendary game winning return. LOL

With the way Harbaugh is, I wouldnt be shocked if one game Ginn came out with "Out of Bounds" for his name on his jersey.
