First things first, lets look at our key players from this year that we have to make a decision on. We will have close to $44M to spend. 

Listed in order of who I would make my biggest targets: (My offer)

Brian Hartline - The one thing you cant argue with is that he and Tannehill have good chemistry and that has to be taken into consideration. Hartline is not a burner by any means but he manages to get open and has pretty good hands. He is young enough that he will be looking for more than a 1 or 2 year deal so I start in the 3/14m area.  

Sean Smith - He is good, but not great. He is going to want to get paid and until we find someone to replace him (which means we have to find someone to play across from him) we have to pay him or tag him. I believe his value is one of the better #2 CB's in the league. Im starting with an offer of 2/16m or 3/21m.

Reggie Bush - He is still a home run threat but he is 28 now. Id like to keep him. I offer the same deal as before 2/10m on an incentive based deal.

Jake Long - I'm really torn here. What Jake will we get back next year? Without knowing all the details of his injuries. If he can come back and perform I go 3/20-24m. Nothing more! So he is going to hit the market.

Anthony Fasano - Like Smith, we have no one to replace him. He is a solid blocker and is average receiver. I try and keep him in the 2/6m range.

I know I am missing some players but these are the main guys I would like to see signed before March.

umm Tony S was fired...today or yesterday... maybe ireland can join him in the unemployment line?
