12 Things I Hate about TSU:
#12 – Their basketball arena is old but only half finished.
#11 –Their most famous alum, LBJ, is famous for being the President who escalated the Vietnam war.
#10 – San Marcos is not a desirable place to live, visit, or drive through (that is the nicest way I can put it).
#9 – Their entire campus is on a freakin’ hill.
#8 – Their athletic director is a fool and is no where near equivalent toward the great Lynn Hickey.
#7 – San Marcos still allows indoor smoking. Seriously, their best place (tap room) smells, literally.
#6 – They hired Fran as football head coach. And gave him a ton of money. Seriously.
#5 – They still haven’t fired basketball coach Doug Davalos.
#4 – They’ve had 6 different names (Southwest Texas State Normal School, Southwest Texas State Normal College, Southwest Texas State Teachers College, Southwest Texas State College, Southwest Texas State University, and Texas State University): seriously, pick one and stay with it.
#3 – Their mascot is odd. While most mascots are, this one is extra feminine. And it’s name is Boko the Bobcat.
#2 – Their co-eds are gold diggers. They’re #10 on the list of “Sugar Babies.”
