Big George Brown at 1:30 tomorrow!

Big George Brown at 1:30 tomorrow!

I'll just be getting out of the Stoops Lunch in Louisville. What will his choice be? Seems to be between UK and Fla. I've got to go with the Big Blue. He's been here about 7-9 times depending on the reports you read. He's said close to home is best. On the other side his older brother was recruited and played for Coach Summers at UL and one of their 2015 committs is close to George.

I think he goes to the Cats. I have no sources or anything but I think he is playing up the drama a little bit which makes the commitment more significant. Get the news stations saying how he picked Kentucky over Florida and how significant this is for the Cats. I'll be shocked if he goes to Gainesville.

I would say it is 98% gators ans 2% Kentucky at this point.

Well rats. Recruit him still or try another OL. Seemed like it was George or bust.

@vincemarrow: Big Blue Nation... Relax. It's only the first round. This is a Title Fight. #BBN Sounds like Marrow isn't giving up on Brown.

None of this will matter when Muschamp gets canned....

I likely see Brown coming back to UK and Baker coming back to Ohio State.

Let's just hope they go 4-8 again and we both win.

I have heard there are mixed feelings about how he projects. Some think he will be great. Some have been less than enthused by his performances this summer. I say wish him good luck and move on to other recruits. I think he would have been a nice land to fill out the OLine class (Rowland predicts we lose an interior guy from this committed class). but now we focus on others. Just my thought.

Our coaches, who have been recruiting great, wanted him & still want him. I trust them over "some".  Just my thought.

As the poster pointed out, Fla is not going to accept mediocre seasons forever and their staff is basically on a 1 year contract. And as Vince Marrow says, it's a long way till Feb.2015, obviously we're not going to quit on him

I'm in the camp that thinks he will be great. You can't teach his athleticism and as an OL in what is going to be a more open attack, it will be a great advantage. He will fill out and be great and I certainly would not give up on him if I were an OL coach or recruiter. Interesting tweet from Coach Marrow-I've never seen that.

There are mixed feelings. It has been suggested that his relationship to Harris made him impossible not to recruit.

I believe that Muschamp will be at UF next year.

Agree- I;m still somewhat shocked(although couldn't care less) that after showing how under-prepared his squad was and getting their tails kicked against ul and then fall flat on his face last year(by florida's standards)that he is still employed.

No offense, but if Brown were overly concerned with mediocre seasons, UK wouldn't even be in this discussion.

However, you are right, if UF falls flat on its face again, then Muschamp is gone.  With that said, there is no way that the Gators are bitten nearly as bad with injuries as they were last year.  A healthy UF and its 10 wins for UF, even with the toughest schedule in the country again.

UF certainly has the players for 10 wins.  Whether you have the coach appears to be a different story.

I had always thought of it as landing Brown could help with Harris. Maybe it can work in reverse, one can hope anyway.
