Re: The Opening

I had forgotten to mention the OG from AL, Darryl Williams was invited as well, last name listed. Some on various boards wondered if he was any good. Proud of CJ Conrad on his invite, hope he does well.

Also noticed that Montrell Custis is going. He's the 3-star that de-committed to go with Bama. I saw numerous posts questioning UK's first commit at the time, "too soon", "hold out for better". etc. Now look. See really good player with potential and the size you want and offer.

Re: The Opening

Per AL.com on Darryl Williams:

Williams looked all set to pick Auburn last week, but has now pushed back his decision. If it doesn't end up being the Tigers, the Kentucky Wildcats could be in a good position to land the talented center. Mississippi State and Florida State are also in the picture for the 6-foot-4, 305-pound prospect.

Auburn isn't going to take him. If George Brown commits to UK in the next few weeks, I'm not entirely sure he'll be a take at UK either.

I was wondering that too. Seemed like Auburn would have taken him early on but things have probably changed. I can honestly say I have no idea what UK will do which is usually the case lol. I do like the guy.

He's got the talent and size. I honesty don't know if the staff would want 8 OL commits, but with his size and talent it would difficult to say no.

It may be a situation where we ask someone like Wolfe to gray shirt.

Wolfe is one of the better OL commits. He's actually underrated to be perfectly honest.

It has nothing to do with how good or bad a prospect is - just how amenable he would be to the concept of gray shirting.

I don't see Madon interested in gray shirting. Especially for him being one of the top in-state kids. Williams wants Auburn. He will wait until for them to accept his commitment.

Re: The Opening

Apparently Mason thought about enrolling early but not now so I guess it's kinda ironic to mention that he should enroll later. He's really young but I don't see a positive for UK which has made a commitment to him already.

Williams has another name in the mix now-Miss St.
