Congrats on the Glenville Trio

Posted: 12/31/2013 11:58 AM

Congrats on the Glenville Trio

The Rumor down in Texas is that the Glenville trio will shock the recruiting world Jan.4 and pick the Wildcats over the Buckeyes. The change of heart started with Marcelys Jones latest visit to Lexington. Jones is said to be in love with the Wildcat staff and the chance to play in the SEC and has convinced Lattimore and Smith to join him. The Wildcat staff is said to be very confident that they will be getting all three on Jan. 4. The key here is said to be don't pay attention to what they say pay attention to what they do.

I would not bite on this. This has troll written all over it.  This is a second name for a Bucky.

Poor trolling attempt.  I give it a 1.5 out of 10.  You get an extra .5 for using a different screen name.

I'd say it's about a 99% chance all three go to OSU

If you think I'm tolling that's fine. Ask your own insiders why your coaching staff  is so confident that these three are heading to Lexington.  I am not in Texas but I am close with someone who is but like I said you don't have to take my word for it ask the insiders on this board.

I'm now hearing that Marshon Lattimore is backing out and will end up at OSU. No word on Smith.

I know when I want recruiting scoop concerning players in the state of Ohio, my first call is to a guy in Texas.

My Texas guy gets all the Ohio recruiting scoop.  A close second is my Hawaii guy who gets all the Pennsylvania recruiting scoop.

I personally hearing Matt Elam will flip Marcelys Jones to Kentucky. Other two is a mystery.

We will see.  We know that our staff has been working hard, but we also know it is more likely not to happen than to happen.

If you are not trolling, we should know soon enough.

While I doubt your sincerity, I will gladly apologize later.  Just do not see that happening.

But, let's be clear, even without the "trio," this is a damn fine class!!!

I am just going to wait until the 5th before I make any opinions on whether Jones is going to flip or not. If we do not get Elam I will be greatly disappointed. If we get any of the Glenville trio I will consider it a bonus.

This is what I know. Jones really likes the Wildcats. He is trying to talk Lattimore and Smith into going to Kentucky with him. Now does he like Kentucky enough to come without the other two or will he stick with his friends if they go to OSU. I guess we will find out Jan. 4 either way the Wildcats staff did a great job recruiting the Glenville Trio and it closer then many believe.

Ha, hard to distinguish the BS from actual opinions and facts here. Not unlike the internet in general I guess. Did see in the Lattimore quote about his comfort level somewhere. Doesn't seem like he'd have to mention that if he was going to OSU

I think Elam is the bonus and will be thrilled if we get him.

I suspect there are 1-3 others who we land by February. Just not sure who.

Jones is supposed to school in the spring.  So, we will know before Feb on him.

But, this is all bonus time for me, so long as we do not lose anyone we currently have committed.

I'm not on you at all, I was just wondering if you're BS'ing us or not. I don't know what Ohio insiders are saying

We were confident we were involved. Go back. You will see almost all of us informed it was a long shot and they were your commits to lose.

You guys have been confident all along, while many of us Buckeyes laughed at you and didn't think it was realistic at all. What has changed. Are you guys hearing something else? Usually Buckeye insiders are spot on.

Without going into too much detail, let's just say a certain insider (FYI I'm not an insider on scout) who has the best possible source, told him that Lattimore, Smith and Jones called Urban a couple of days ago and told him they are committing to Kentucky. Apparently, the kids weren't planning on giving Urban a phone call, but Ginn Sr encouraged them to do so. Again, there is a whole lot more to this story that Im sure will come out in the next couple of weeks, but this is the first time ever that a school has stolen a Glenville superstar from Ohio State (let alone 3 superstars)

I'm sick now. Lattimore is going to be the next Charles Woodson imo. Too bad he will be wasting his talent at Kentucky.
Maybe you can get one of your fellow OSU fans to come over here and apologize to me for saying I was misleading the entire board. I said in the beginning of this thread UK had a shot with all three kids.

He is trolling your board as is the OP. Would not surprise me if they are the same person.

If they are going to the same school I have to think it will be Ohio State.

We will know Saturday. And, that does not mean all three end up at the same place. But, once again, they are Ohio's to lose and the far greater percentage rests with them staying home.
