im would think Incredible would have to be 5 star immediate impact type of guy. Maybe Hatcher has convinced Quick to flip! lol. really have no idea. any rumors are pure speculation. My real guess though, 5* #2CB Jalen Ramsey. He has been noted as a soft commit to USC where he could have hit it off with Hatcher really well since they both had official visits the same weekend. He is also relatively local being from Nashville. I have heard whoever it is ranks higher than anybody we currently have committed!

MSt. lost a JUCO WR Commit to Ohio State. That could free up Timmons to UK. It would appear this "huge news" would be be bigger than that. interesting

from conversations ive had it seems that my sarcastic first guess, James Quick, is actually one of the most talked about recruits concerning this news. he is listed as a soft commit on rivals.

Maybe it's the possible transfer of the 4 star rb from Nebraska. He would have to be cleared from Nebraska to come here though, and since we've stolen McWilson that may be in doubt

The Trinity angle as a "storyline" mentioned by Rowlands caught my eye but I have a hard time believing it. Hatcher alone would be big news.
On another note, on 247's home page it shows Jo Jo running drills for the story. If it wasn't already obvious, I got no clue but guess all of the above. Someone mentioned Jalen Ramsey coming with Hatcher. I give up.

Nebraska is just stacked at the RB position and with 2 great ones committed in the current recruiting class it just makes sense for Heard to transfer for a better opportunity. He is great and deserves more touches just not enough room in the backfield at NU for him to get the touches he deserves. |

There is absolutely no chance Quick flips to UK. For that matter, I still don't believe Hatcher will be here when the dust settles.
Also, FWIW, Rowland is already starting to backtrack from these claims on the Rivals premium board.

The Quick "soft verbal" moniker is not interesting from a UK perspective, but begs the question of whether Quick is firmly committed to UL or whether there is a chance he flips on or before signing date. Given he is a legacy recruit for UL, from the city of Louisville, and a fan, I highly doubt he flips, but Rivals has him as not firm, for some reason.

I really don't understand the need to make fun of someone through their name. Where did that start coming from: Calimari, Matty Bang Bangs, Cholly, etc....What the **** is that about? It's not funny in any way whatsoever. Anyway, Matt Jones would easily be the last person anyone on this site is listening to for recruiting information. He passes along other stuff after the fact and collates everything UK-related very nicely, but that's it. |

Since the beginning the title of being first to report has reigned and for some reason years ago you could almost bet the house they were right. But now, there are so many that I think some make it up in hopes that it comes true so that they can be the reigning King of All Knowledge Award. lol |

Honestly, I don't think any of these guys are just flat-out making things up. However, I do think they're sometimes way too quick to take a not very reliable source at face value. I know Aaron specifically has been burned a few times by a source giving him completely bad information.
Also, I think there are some individuals in the athletic department who are very bad about looking at everything through blue-colored glasses. Remember a couple years ago when literally EVERYONE from Aaron to Drummond to Edwards to Brian Eldridge believed Lamar Dawson was a lock to UK, then were shocked on the morning of NSD. The reality of the situation was that the people involved with our football program were spreading that info, which they firmly believed to be true. It turned out he had never at any time planned to come here.
