Air Raid sirens
What do you guys think about bringing back the sirens? I know some people are talking about it and pushing for a comeback. Neal Brown was asked about it on his radio interview and basically said if the fans wanted it he would be all for it. I think it could be a nice promotional tool to add excitement to UK football, but the flip side is that it will remind us of mumme and the trouble he left behind him.

Re: Air Raid sirens
Tim Couch wants them back, would be fine with me, get the fans even more excited. Something unique for us, don't think anyone else does it

Neal Brown said whatever the fans want. I think whatever the coaches want is fine with me.
Don't panic

This is one area of expectation that the UK adminstration has let us down. You need that special something that excites the crowd from the minutes before the team runs out onto the field, to the very end of the game. I want to see our crowd get into their seats BEFORE kickoff, and I want them to stay and cheer until the game is over. So the adminstration HAS to make this happen to change the attitude of our crowd.

Re: Air Raid sirens
I liked the fact that we had an identity for a fast paced, attacking offense and you gotta admit that was a real fun and gun style to watch every game. I remember the bombers on the big screen boards launching their missiles and sometimes the playing of "I Dropped A Bomb On You" (which I would turn up a lot louder). I'm not a young kid either, I'm 71, and have been going to UK football games for 60 years. I've been waiting a LONG TIME for a staff like this to come along and we need to back them to the hilt. Let the recruits attending the games see a boiling hot 70,000 Wildcat fans at the games, wild and crazy for football, and not just to party outside the stadium. We have asked for it, begged for it, threatened to get it-- NOW LET'S ALL SUPPORT KENTUCKY FOOTBALL STARTING WITH THE SPRING GAME and watch Stoops and staff do the impossible. Man they are working their asses off, LaDarius Smith! Out of visits? Choosing between The U, Florida State, Texas, HUH!!! Sirens, HELL YES!

Re: Air Raid sirens
Bring back the sirens. UK was in on the ground floor of the Air Raid offense in college football. IMO the sirens reved up the excitment at games.

Re: Air Raid sirens
Go with the sirens or have some hard upbeat music hit the sound system then have it queue in the video screen for the fan base to shout banzai motherfkkrs banzai have 70k do that ought to get someone's attention. Think 70 thousand fans standing and shouting and screaming banzai. We'd be the craziest fan base out there!
