This game is unreal; I know NN was a huge piece of the team but have these other guys ever played basketball? UK is getting run out of the gym by Tennessee

We were not a good team with Noel but without him this team is awful.
I sure hope Archie Goodwin turns pro after this season. He is nowhere near ready but I am just tired of watching him play. He is easily without a doubt my least favorite UK player in my lifetime. He absolutely has zero basketball instincts or basketball intelligence. The guy game in and game out makes the same mistakes over and over. I have never seen a guy with so much ability continue to get himself into no mans land where he either throws the ball away, charges, or throws up a prayer.
We are playing a HORRIBLE UT team today and are getting DESTROYED 33-12 less than 10 minutes into the game.
And right on queue another charge on Goodwin. Please go pro Archie! I absolutely hate watching him play.This is going to be an embarrassing stretch

According to Jon Scott's UK bball history site, Shows has now called a T vs. Cats in 3 of last 4 UK games he's worked. UK 0-3, headed for 0-4 in last four games he has worked (UofL, A&M, Bama).

When you can't even get the first jump ball correct, you don't need to be officiating at any high level. That's not a judgement call, that's just being dumb. You should be lambasted the entire game for not using any sense.

I hate to go down the referees road (because that's not why UK's losing) but guys like Shows are a big part of the reason why college basketball is a bad product right now. It's the only one of the three major sports where the rules of the game, or enforcement thereof, totally changed based on the location of the game and the whims of the crew. It's laughable.

This is exactly right. Everyone is frustrated with Archie and alex but they arent terrible basketball players --- just freshman.

All season long Noel was the only player that played any defense at all. Without him you see an offensive challenged team like UT shooting nearly 70% from the field.
Just nobody on this team will commit to playing defense at all

Cal really giving it to Poythress on the bench during timeout. With good reason. He's sleep-walking again. Two rebounds in 19 minutes today, six rebounds in last 48 minutes on the floor.

Well with Noel out someone has to play. Hood is the next guy on the bench so he is playing. Honestly everyone should have known this was coming. There is no reason to talk down about the players, they are Kentucky's players and we as fans need to support them.
