Dabo was talking about how the key for this season was about maintaining consistency throughout the season. This coaching staff and these players responded by bouncing back from two tough losses to top 15 teams this season to finish with a second consecutive 10-win season and to earn one of the most impressive bowl victories since taking down a Barry Switzer-led Oklahoma squad on January 2, 1989.

What an awesome ending to the season. I have a feeling that this entire group is going to come back even hungrier next season with the work ethic and intensity to accomplish greater things. I hope that the two squads that beat this team this year have taken notice, because they may have the largest targets on their backs next year.

Way to go Clemson...and GT....and Virginia Tech.....we at 'Cuse nation salute our new conference brethern....great games...so good to be in the ACC:

Syracuse is the 15th winningest program in Division 1-A college football history
Only USC (11), ND (10), Pittsburgh (8), UM (8) and Ohio St (8) have more members in the Pro Football Hall of Fame than Syracuse (7)
Syracuse is the 5th winningest program in Division I college basketball history, trailing only Kentucky, UNC, Kansas and Duke

Huge win for Clemson! Important win for the ACC. I admit that I didn't think that Clemson's OL/DL could hold up, but they did.

Congratulations, Tiger Nation!

Clemson joins SC in the elite ranks for 2012-13! Pretty impressive that both teams in the small state of South Carolina are ranked in the final top 15, probably top 10!

Re: ACC!!!ACC!!!ACC!!!

Clemson will be a top 10 team
UNC will be a top 20 team (I PRAY LOL)
GTech has Vad Lee.. They will win 8 games at least
Miami will be a lot better
VT will be better (This season is unacceptable for them)

ACC needs to stick together.
Clemson, FSU, Louisville, Miami, VT, UNC, and GT will all be pretty good in the future.

Indeed it does. So what if the conference just lost Maryland? They were dead weight anyway.

There are teams in the ACC that are gonna be tough outs. I am telling anyone, the ACC can be the #2 conference quick. Like next year.

Don't count Cuse or Pitt out. With PSU marginalized, there is a lot of talent up there those teams can get.

Kicking themselves right out the door. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, Terps.

Re: ACC!!!ACC!!!ACC!!!

Great win for Dabo and Clemson. I think you got a winner in Venable as DC. The defense brought it tonight. I think your program took a giant step forward tonight. While mine, USC, took a few giants step backwards today.

Would you like to trade coaches? :)
