Not to mention I find it terribly difficult to imagine USF could give Morris the financial compensation he is getting here

I thought he was waiting for a major job, isn't USF in a conference with like 4 football teams left, and some weird hybrid of small west coast schools looking to join soon?
I agree with the above it reeks of being sort of desperate, or something not quite right. I was under the impression he was the highest paid assistant in the country all without having beat our rival or won a bowl game.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you can throw all the "experience" stuff away. Chad wants out of here. I dont see them paying 2 million a year, but who knows.
Dont be shocked if he's offered the job, the only other person I've heard mentioned as nutt. I truly believe they'll chose chad over him. They do want stability though and that sure isn't chad.
Skip tried to blame the AD and new stricter admissions for his horrible record. They simply didn't buy that.

I'm thinking the guy is just looking for experience with the whole interview process....can't see him going to USF.

It would be a major detour at getting a shot to be a head coach at some major BCS school. He would have a much better chance remaining the OC here for another year

Really? He shopped us around last year and got a huge raise and now hes going on his second interview. Your right he's content to be here under dabo.
What will you say if he takes a sub 2 million a year job in the big east? Will that be enough proof?

ok, lets say USF offers him the job and he declines, will you promise not to post here for one full year?
and if he does leave here for the HC job at USF, i will buy you a one year premium membership to scout.

Seriously did you guys not see what malzahn did? Hell he took a cut to get out from under chiz shadow. How did that work out for him. You guys are in complete denial if you dont think the EXACT same thing can't happen here. Chad will take this job if offered just to get out on his own and it will prove that most ouf our recent success was due to him.

I think Chad likes playing games with Dabo's head! To me it seems like Dabo is scared of Chad. Morris is just hurting this recruiting class. Dabo needs to put his foot down asap! USF??? Smh

the only denial i saw was that chad said he wasn't interviewing "this weekend". was there a flat out denial that he wasn't interested in the USF job and not going to interview?
