Louisville sugar bowl tickets

Louisville sugar bowl tickets

University of louisville sold it's allotment of sugar bowl tickets (17,500) on first day of sale. Many more fans buy from other sources so as to know ahead of time just where their seats are located.

I think the implication is that swofford finally brought in a team that cares about football. I think it is awesome.

I think the OP is just stating that the move for Louisville is already providing dividends. Would Maryland ever sell out their allotment of tickets for anything? Highly doubtful. He's just stating the case for his team being the right pick and satisfying those from the football first schools.

The use of 'OP' needs to stop. Every time I see it, I'm thinking Oliver Purnell and that I'm on the wrong board.

I can see your point but it would have been more clear if he finished his post by asking if Md has done that. With no mentioned of Md, it came across as trying to brag.

Re: Louisville sugar bowl tickets

Sorry if it came across to some as bragging. My original post was incorrect. I reposted something from another board without checking for accuracy. U of L has sold all their tickets except those in the top row. When I was told my tickets were in 600s I cancelled mine and took the $50 loss on my deposit. I will join many other fans who will buy better tickets from other sources perhaps at a premium price. I will not invest in travel and hotel cost to watch a game that looks like watching a flea circus. Most likely they will sell the last of their allotment however before game day. They did when we went to the orange bowl. I posted in the hope that FSU fans would view this in a positive light for future ACC bowls that we might represent the conference in. Louisville fans have nothing but respect for Clemson. This was posted by another fan on louisville board today.
RE: ACC releases statement on speculation of any teams leaving
Was interested to see that Clemson's President didn't have a "Dr." in front of his name, which is incredibly rare for any university president. I then read his bio and saw what an absolute stud he is - an architect/administrator with honorary doctorates granted to him left and right. It's going to be great to be identified with schools and individuals like this.

Welcome to the board Cody and please continue to brag. Dizzy Dean said if it was a fact, it wasn't bragging. I wish all the other teams in our conference could have something to brag about re their football program. It's good to have a school join the ACC who's fans are excited about football.
