The spread for the USC/Clemson game...

What do you think the spread will be for the game? I believe the Gamecocks will end up favored by .5 - 1.5 points. What are your thoughts?

A lot depends on THIS weekend, IMO. If we play like we have been and punish the pack I think we'll be favored by a FG. If we struggle or worse, it would switch. No more than a FG either way.

As of right now with it being AT Clemson I see us being favored however.

IFFFFFFF what they say is true, that home field is an automatic 3 point advantage, it looks like it's either even or by the math we're a point or 2 dog.

TCOB and screw what the line is!!!

Re: The spread for the USC/Clemson game...

It's a little early to talk about the spread. We have a big football game to play this Sat. where an injury could occur. If Boyd gets hurt and/or Ellington, Sammy, or Hopkins it could really change the game. I don't think we've got much of a chance of winning if Boyd is not playing and it's not too far fetched to think he couldn't get hurt. And too, Shaw could get injured in the Wofford Game. I'll think about the spread come next week after I see what happens this weekend.

Or a landshark could terrorize the small, lakeside town of Clemson, South Carolina, mauling the majority of the team and forcing us to play with just 13 players for both sides. Let's wait until next week to see what happens.

Actually, that is a good point. I think there is ZERO chance that Clemson loses to NC State or that SC loses to Wofford, but you do bring up a good point about the injuries.

Just my opinion (just making that clear), but if Boyd was out there is no way that Clemson beats SC. This is not a knock on the Cole, it is simply stating that I have been that impressed with Boyd.

On the other hand, if Connor Shaw was out, then I would say the same thing about SC's chance of winning. If Connor Shaw is out, Clemson beats SC running away.
