We're looking for more Pac-12 Bloggers
over the offseason, it'll be about a paragraph a week. Probably a bit more during the season. Please email russmitchellsec@gmail.com if you're interested. We're hoping to get a fifth blogger, and to be honest I'd like to see 6-7 in the rotation, so that some people can take breaks as the summer goes on.

I'm interested but not completely prepared at the moment. I don't want to make a promise I cant keep right now. If the opportunity still exists in a month or so I may piece together some old posts as a makeshift resume of sorts.

I shot an E-mail about a week or two ago with some links to things I wrote in these forums. I haven't gotten any reply just yet & am going to assume that the positions been filled, or that my links were unimpressive.  |

PM (no email!!) me and I will get you in touch with the guy in charge. MR PT has been non-responsive to me as well.
From what I can see we can use another contributor. I will vouch for you--FWTW--which probably is very little.

Is it really helpful to nag? If it's just a matter of that the E-mail hasn't been reviewed yet, I don't mind waiting. Wouldn't they send a "thanks but no thanks" reply if it's been reviewed?

@baal: just sent you a couple emails. Thought you had been copied on everything. Also, I haven't seen emails from you around 2 weeks back. Did you send it from a different email address than usual? It's possible that my spam filter caught it... or that microsoft just sucks.
@TMMS: Have you sent something? I don't believe I've been copied on it (unless you're the Utah guy already in the group, in which case this message confuses me... though I think that's not the case).

- This link, was a lengthy exercise I did collecting & organizing local news releases during spring camp. I hope it shows that I'm used to researching.
- This link, was a brief brainstorming exercise I did to sort out differences among changing staffs. I hope it shows some thoughtfulness on my part.
- This link, shows a criticism I received of some poor terminology on my part, & how I handled it. I think its typical of how I handle my errors.
- This link, was a post week one results write up I did on the MWC. I hope it shows that I can do such a write up for the PXII, & shows I have knowledge & interest in conferences other than the PXII solely.
I can't copy & paste the whole sent E-mail but this is the list & exact wording I used as my ethos. The whole Email was a little hastily thrown together & I probably could have found better links if I'd taken more time.

An update;
I did get a reply from Russ 4 days ago thanks to MPT playing middleman a little. He informs me that the PXII bloggers are full & recommends I consider the ACC. I'm only slightly better informed about the ACC than the MAC, so that's a near worst case offer for me, but I wrote a reply to probe what my role would be. If It's something that I can competently do, then I'll go for the ACC role, but if it requires that I be super insightful right away then I cannot accept.

I think that CFN isn't doing league blog groups this year. Not sure why. If you're interested in blogging for CFN, though, email fiucfn@gmail.com, he may (or may not) be interested.
