Thursday Game Time

Thursday Game Time  (1 vote)
Thursday is a doubleheader with the women. Their game will begin at the 5:30 p.m., and the men will tip-off around 8:00 p.m. Both teams will face south-OC rival UC Irvine.
Get there a little early and cheer on our ladies!

ya right -- that's a good one. Like they actually have girls sports and they even let them play basketball. Don't you think they would break a nail or something? What college girls would be available to play sports at 5:30 when they would be home cooking supper for their men folk. Thanks for the good laugh.

Wow, after all the hype for being a double header for the men's and women's teams tonight we didn't hear a thing about what happened in the earlier game.
(unless I fell asleep during the men's game sometime between the tip off and the end of game....)
I came home to find out the lady Titans won their game.
some other things that have been noticed:
1 - lack of information on the game 'programs' (handouts)
2 - no updates on BW play
3 - stats for players during halftime and post game
4 - announcements about where our dancers were tonight
all this lack of info, is it because we lack an SID?

all this lack of info, is it because we lack an SID? 1. Rosters were on the table as they always are. Previews are always posted on the official site and Titan Central. 2. Agreed. 3. Did you really want to hear any stats last night??? 4. Dance team is in Orlando for the championships. If you noticed, on the northeast wall there were new honors boards for the Volleyball team and the Dance team. With the gymnastics and wrestling boards already up, we pretty much have all of our teams covered now. |

Thanks again Kirk, But this is an issue I have had all season, not just last night.
yes, last nights stats were dreadful, but still in most other games it would be nice to see how individuals are doing (BTW, isn't the board on the west wall supposed to show player stats? Right now they only have zeros at the bottom of the board.

As for #1, I always thought it nice to see at the game who was coming in and who their main players were. (something I can't do if I have just depend on the web.)
Oh yeah, player intros.... blackout is nice, but do we have a spot light to show who is being introduced? (or is that budget go around #??????)

Bring a flashlight on Saturday.  Agreed that having them come out in the dark is foolish. |

I know that we keep hounding the athletic Dept to improve HTG ....
But I noticed that we need to remove a couple of banners on the west wall.... no SDSU or Boise St.

Order has been submitted to facilities and new AD said this will only take about 6 months. Hopefully this is something new President Dr. Garcia will address and get rid of more dead weight on campus.

Thanks TC.... unfortunately, I am not able to make the chalk talks... heck, lucky I can even make the games.

And yes, 6 months to take down 2 banners???????
