Alright, so we've got some creampuffs on the schedule...12 non-conference games...i'm thinking 7-5 record for the Demons...

give us your predictions.

Im gonna go 9-3 also........I think this team will come out ready. I am looking foward to the northern Iowa game on the 20th on november. We will see that night where this team is. Its a game we SHOULD win, but as we know in the past these are the games we have lost.

As much as I'd like to say 9-3, my gut feeling is saying 8-4!

honestly bubba, i think, right now UNI is a better team than us and beating UNI would be an upset.  I am not so sure that is a game depaul "should" win.  UNI won the MVC and is returning everyone.

Now colombia is a game thye should win but I am not so sure about UNI as thye are a good team.  Bit you are right bubba, it will be a good game to see where the team is, and of course i hope that the demons cone out victorious!!!

UNI is a very tough team &, IMO, better than us...but it's the MVC & we're the BE, baby! This game will show how the temperment of our team...have we picked up where we left off (BE tourney games vs Cincy & Providence)? This should give us a good picture of our progress.

Yeah UNI is a real damn good team. If we can win that game, confidence can only grow from there. I'll say 8-4

The easy answer is 8-4.  We lose 2 games in the Paradise Jam, Vandy and Miss St.  However, I have just had a big batch of Blue Kool Aid.  I am going to say 10-2.  We lose in the championship game of the Paradise Jam and at Vandy.  We upset a Miss St. team that is still unsettled due to eligibility issues and hold serve against the weak balance.   

see i have the demons winning 2 games in the paradise jam after losing to opener to UNI.  thye will lose @ vandy and to Miss st.  So i wanted to say 9-3, but I am sure the demons will lose a game to a small school team like they do every year.  anything worse than 8-4 will bag a bad thing

OK, looks like the consensus shows our boys to be around 8-4, with 2 loses in the Paradise Jam, a MS State ding, & Vandy.  I think Demon Nation would/should be somewhat content with this record - given the current state of our program...proof is in the pudding, though.

JW made the right decision going easy on the schedule...gives the kids time to learn, gain chemistry/confidence...no question - we need to rack up as many wins before the BE begins.

But I'm still dying to hear BillyBlueDemon's prediction...

yeah i agree with you.  but JW didnt really have much of a choice but to go "easy" on the schedule, however I think it is a good, competitive schedule for a major conference team.  the only thing that sucks is all the home games are terrible teams.  no real "crowd drawing" home non con games.  that is the onyl thing i am upset with in regards to the non con.  the schedule is great, the home games stink.

Didn't know my opinion mattered that much.  I'm inclined to go with 8-4 too.

10-2.  NO PRISONERS!  I got a pitcher of Blue Kool Aid in the fridge and I ain't sippin, I'm chuggin!  If I am wrong so be it, don't really care.  GO DEMONS!

Slow start 1-1 finishing 9-3....also drinking the revival kool-aid because nobody expects us to do anything!!!!

I am now going to go with 8-4 too.
