The guy is a first class jerk, we all know that, but what does this accomplish?
USC was bad, but they were 2-2 in the Pac 12 and playing OK. They are not going to make the tournament, and having someone as interim coach does nothing. It's not like they were nearly as bad as DePaul when JW got fired mid-season.
For someone to take that job when the NCAA had them on probation and actually do a decent job, including make a tourney in his 2nd year, it doesn't seem right to get canned mid-season.

Saw the USC vs Stanford game. USC pulled out the win.
O'Neil has a lot of passion on the sideline. In the huddle he said to a player 'what the f**k are you doing out there'.
I love to see that passion on our sideline.

A-hole or not, he knows the game. Tough to coach at a school where football is king. I'd have kept him; smart guy, makes me laugh. And by the way mentioning Knight, how many more NCAA titles has he won since 1976 than DPU? Enough said.

Thread has NOTHING to do with DePaul. Kevin has a career record of 214-241 as a head coach. Total ass clown. Deserved to be fired.
