Loyola post game
Tough loss but not really all that surprising.
This team reminds me of the tucker, burns, koshwal team because we win when we hit threes and we lose when we don't.
The reason is that we have a coach who doesn't understand offense and low iq players. So all we can do is hoist threes and pray they go in.
We got out coached and out hustled by what appears to be a better team.

Re: DePaul vs. Loyola Post-Game
Why should anyone be surprised by this loss ... we've struggled with cupcakes all year. How is it acceptable to lose to programs with a third of the resources that DePaul currently has ? We squeeked by Chicago St. and NIU for gods sake !!! This is SO pathetic and now we lose to a bad Loyola team .. .OMG !!!

Am I saying it is acceptable to lose to this team? Hell no. But unfortunately we are not as good as some people think we are.

Re: DePaul vs. Loyola Post-Game
This one is on OP. No matter how "well" Loyola played, you should never lose to Loyola. An inexcusable loss that will produce many excuses.

Re: DePaul vs. Loyola Post-Game
Out coached, out willed. Does Jeanne have the balls to fire OP after next year? Wainwright would be giving us the same results with this team. Anyone who disagrees with that is dragging this program down.
Start writing father holtschnieder now!

Re: DePaul vs. Loyola Post-Game
Was actually considering turning some plans around to make it out Wednesday vs. Seton Hall. After watching this lackluster performance by a team that just looked unprepared, I've changed my mind. I know there are many out there that feel the same.
Just win. No more ticket promos. No more excuses.
Most every week we look like the team that missed the memo. Even the wins against Chicago St. and NIU were simply a result of better talent. The decision making on this team is underwhelming. It's like watching high school pick-up games. Where's the leadership both on the floor and off?

Start writing father holtschnieder now! I agree, I hoped we would win easy, but in my head I knew this was an option! Is Porter still the coach at Loyola? We are a 3rd class program (not even second class)
Tomorrow is promised to no one… Walter Payton

Also, I think we can kiss the NIT goodbye after this one. We are not improving or playing hard. Maybe four big east wins. Five if we're lucky.

Like a broken record...getting so old
Our team is far from growing up.
BY's statement "we didn't come out ready to play".
If this team hasn't learned from past mistakes then the leadership from our coaching staff is as bad as its on the floor.
Very sad to hear.

Re: DePaul vs. Loyola Post-Game
1. The team showed no emotion and was not ready to play 2. The team was sloppy and undisciplined (Melvin's lane violation on the front end of bonus was low point) 3. BY was out of control and checked out. He should not have been on the court the last 10 of the game 4. We are not getting better. Responsibility falls on the coaches. 5. We will get destroyed/embarrassed in the Big East unless we wake up. We have talent, but lack execution

Re: DePaul vs. Loyola Post-Game
Man, I hate getting slapped in the face to wake up.
Just who said our front 5 were better then theirs? All of the arguing over the past 2 days proved the Rah-Rah guys were wrong. But, deep down, I really wanted a win and was thoroughly disappointed.
Got to the game late and we were up 7 in the first half. Little did I know I missed our best showing of the day. Things went downhill from there. Too many problems to innumerate.
Just a really, really bad performance. We got beat.
We are not good.

Re: DePaul vs. Loyola Post-Game
I wish DePaul gave me a full ride to go 0-3 from the field and 1-2 from the stripe. I'm sick of seeing Moses jog half ass on the court. He is just entirely apathetic towards basketball at this point. Keep him on the bench.
