UNC Asheville beats St. John's
at Carnesecca Arena.
Bruce Hornsby's son plays for UNC Asheville, he had 14 pts. tonight.

Not sure why you can't admit to your MUSHstakes! Only you have been outspoken about Lavin's ability to Coach. It has been widely agreed that he can recruit talent but not coach it. When OP loses, you have keen anaylsis. When Lavin loses, you circumvent and distract. When will you admit that you were just MUSHstaken?!

You know, I'm gonna go out on a limb and surmise that if OP had St Johns roster over the past 2 years, then he'd have a better record than Greaseball Lavin...just my opinion...hire Lavin as an assistant/recruiter with OP as the head coach

The reason we all care about Lavin so much has nothing to do with mush. It's actually because he could have easily been our coach. The comparisons between him and OP are natural because we passed on Lavin. Furthermore, he beat out OP on a few big time recruits that would make all the difference at depaul right now.
So far Lavin is providing much better returns at St. John's than OP at DePaul. The obsession will continue.

Much better results deepal?? For sure on the recruiting angle, not so much on the coaching angle...let's see how the DePaul/St Johns records compare this year and next year, OP's 3rd and 4th years...,IMO, the records will be very close and the tie-breakers might be post-season results...this will be very interesting indeed!!
