Gardner web dominated in their game yesterday..http://www.gwusports.com/ViewA...TCLID=205733070
I get scared with teams that have good guard play and take care of the ball. GW seem to force turnovers alot as well. should be interesting how our guard play shows up since we turned the ball alot against cal-riv.

The team they defeated, Covenant, is not even a division one school, so any results should be looked at with caution. Against UNC they their guards turned the ball over a lot and they didn't force many turnovers.

RE: Looking Ahead to Gardner-Webb
Yes, but our guards turned the ball over a ton without that much pressure last friday. and a team that is shooting over 50% from the field (against d2 school or not) scares me since our press usually gives open shots if you can break it.

RE: Looking Ahead to Gardner-Webb
To add to the reasons why we shouldn't lose this game, they have one player thats 6' 8" and one thats 6' 11" and everyone else is under 6' 6".
Melvin should have a field day, and if they key on him we should have wide open looks from 3 all night long.
If we get BY attacking early and get their bigs in foul trouble this should be an absolute mugging. I'm guessing UNC just had a very off night against these guys for it to be as close as it was.

Excellent point. Unforced TO's against average or slightly below average competition will be your undoing. Also, we outfouled a highly unatheltic UCR squad by a 2-1 margin. We do that alot during this non-con cupcake fest we could end up with 4 or 5 losses before BE play begins. I know, I know, it was a 30 point win you say ChiTownBaller and I am with you fellas but against a highly overmatched opponent I would add. UCR may be the worst of our non con foes. If you guys didn't see some of the problems we had, you'll be surprised when we have another UW-M or two or three game(s) again. Alot of good stuff but some not so good too. I take no one for granted as we are DePaul.
