Taliban deny Obama's claim Bergdahl was in poor health

Taliban deny Obama's claim Bergdahl was in poor health

CNN is showing Taliban video of the handoff of PFC Berdahl to US forces and in the film you hear Taliban radio communications and they say quite frankly that "They(us) asked us to be truthful about his condition of health and we looked him over and he is in normal good health".   This goes directly in opposition of Obama's claim that they had to do this swap BYPASSING the 30 day notice to congress because Bergdahl was in poor health.  In the video Bergdahl is walking normal and while skinny appears in solid health.   So not only did Obama the POTUS break his own law about notifying congress he also lied to the American public again.

Also the scene in the video is straight out of any Hollywood movie, You have about 20 armed Taliban with a white flag of truce and holding Bergdahl and then a US Army Black Hawk enters and lands with one armed soldier exiting and one co-pilot exiting and both going over exchanging a quick word with the Taliban rep then the 2 US serviceman and Bergdahl quickly head back to the copter and they take off.   The US says they also had a AC130 Gunship orbiting ahead incase anything went awry.

Video don't lie, I didn't even bother to read your reply because I have a hunch how it went trying to defend Obama.

That vid does look like Hollywood, just waiting for the alternate ending where Obama jumps out of the chopper with a six pack, greets his fellow Taliban buddies and shoots the schitt.

LOL, so that's what that goofball baal/cultstew said.  Who cares if he calls me names?  Hell he calls all of us names as long as we don't believe in his ultra far left liberal view of the world.  In his mind he is never wrong.   Anyway numnuts (that's you baal) I believe what I saw in the video which was a skinny but relatively healthy young man walking easily to the chopper.   The Taliban was asked to be truthful and if you listen to the guy and you listen to his voice and his tone and the conversation its 100% clear he believes Bergdahl is healthy.   He has no reason to lie the US said it did not matter.  What I don't believe is a President who breaks his own law he signed and who tells his minion Susan Rice to lie to America as well and say Bergdahl served his nation proudly and was an ideal soldier when the majority of his platoon is saying the exact opposite.  Obama lied about Bergdahl and he broke the law.  The truth hurts we lived it with W. and you just cant bring yourself to admit it as usual in your twisted mind he is never wrong and neither are you.disbelief

Bergdahl's mental health, who cares.  Obama didn't give one schitt about doing any intel on the guy and prematurely blew his load getting the POS back to us for political gain.  If Obama would like to have a redo, he'd take it and not have shoot his load so early.

I always thought our mantra was, "Leave no man behind," and that would include those that deserted their responsibilities. No? Fact is, our military is leaving Afghanistan and Bergdahl was in danger of being left behind if a prisoner exchange or something else happened. But since Bergdahl isn't the poster boy POW, people are criticizing his return? Maybe the new mantra should be, "No man left behind...unless domestic politics comes into play!"

Regardless of Bergdahl did and may or may or not be charged with, bottom line is, when hostilities are over, he deserves to be able to come home. Like all our soldiers overseas. Period. And prisoner exchange is a time honored way to make this happen.

Yet it is OK for Bergdahl to leave his men behind?  I am sorry, if you willingly walk of post in a foreign country, good for you pal!!  I had friends that missed ships movement when I was in the NAVY, guess what, they were responsible for finding their own way to the next port.

Re: Taliban deny Obama's claim Bergdahl was in poor health

Not the issue though no matter how many times liberals want to try to go to this well.   Nobody is saying leave his azz inAfghanistan other then some ultra right wingers.   The issue that BTW BOTH REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS are having with the administration is Obama broke the law that he signed and he made up an excuse that his health was in danger when it was not and they had no other way of knowing other then what we saw on all the video's released over the years or what they got from talking with the Taliban through Qatar meaning they had to trust what they heard or they had to make something up which numnutz baal/stew doesn't realize in his blind faith in Obama.  Apparently Obama in baal's mind had a magic 8 ball that told him Bergdahl was in poor health even though CNN and others now are saying it sure does not look that way.  You have a law that says he had to notify congress and he did not and then his people lied about Bergdahl's service and record and they lied about his health.   I am so glad both Democrats and Republicans in congress are on the same page with this issue even though the ultra liberals on this board are not.

All I hear from you baal/stew is blah2blah2blah2blah2  I'm right you republicans are all stupidblah2blah2blah2 I'm never wrongblah2blah2blah2blah2 Insert insult toward conservative here_____blah2blah2blah2blah2   Its so much better not even responding to you, makes me all warm and fuzzy insidebiggrin

The deserter also got 6 soldiers killed and freed 5 taliban meembers, NOT BE CHARGED...you serious?  He should be charged with murder, he got innocent soldiers slained for his actions.

The army is reviewing his actions, let the process work itself out!
A lot of this stuff, like getting people killed, is a big stretch!
Frankly, I think the man is a mentally ill, and will be found not responsible for his actions.
The entire family is "off",  his mom is a milf and his dad is weird!

You're still responsible if you're mentally ill...what's wrong with milf's, and everyone is weird...dumb stance you take.
