I'm no soccer fan but for a once-every-4-years kind of thing it can be fun to watch. I certainly have more respect for the sport than I did before, and I will miss having a sport to watch that has ONE commercial break in its entirety,

OP really needs to get a life.  His last ten posts have been about soccer.  He can't even post anything worth reading, so it begs the question why is he even allowed to be here

Amen! Now we don't have to read dumb threads like this. Anti-soccer fanatics can crawl under a rock for another 4 years!

Good run by the US. Wish Kilnsmann would have attacked more instead of defending so much, but I couldn't be any more proud of the USA!

Mad? Hahaha! You're a funny guy. Hate to spoil your day, but nobody's mad. We're just having some clean fun after an outstanding run by our team.

And who cares if it passes lol? The fun of it all is watching it pass. wink

Bah, let him make an ass out of himself. A grown man pouting over soccer. It's quite entertaining, actually.

No, he didn't play. I thought it was just a strategy to make Belgium plan for him. Plus, they don't want to risk further injury and jeopardize things for his club team.

Screw his club team. He should have been in at the least in the OT.

Because of the early injury to Johnson we had to be careful with our subs

I hear you. I honestly don't think he was remotely close to 100%. If he was, Klinny would have played him. I do think he should have unleashed Green MUCH earlier in the tournament. That kid has a bright future. Chose playing for the US over the German national team. Kid can ball.

Dumbest. Post. Ever.

I'll never understand why people don't just not like soccer--I mean not all sports are for everyone--but are downright threatened by it. Just bizarre.
