UofA = Whimps. No OoC BCS opponents on schedule next 8 years

They are booked up for 2013 and 2014.  They have Nevada and UTSA lined up for 2015... and are due to play NAU again.  May not play a BCS OoC opponent until 2016.

Mean while in that same time, ASU has Wisconsin, Notre Dame and LSU lined up.  CU has Nebraska, Michigan and Minnesota.  Utah has Michigan.  UCLA has Nebraska, Virginia, Rutgers and Texas.  USC has Boston College, Notre Dame, Texas, Texas A&M and Tennessee.

Typical pussy....cats.

Will do NOTHING to prepare them for Pac play. But on a positive note it will keep them in new mexico bowl contention forever.

Congrats rats.

THANK YOU WILL SUTTON FOR COMING BACK FOR SECONDS!!!!

Better believe this will be used against them in recruiting.  High school studs want to play Notre Dame and LSU, that's why you want to go to a BCS conference.

You know, it is actually quite sad for the FCS schools who depend on the payday to finance their programs. Next thing you know, mid-majors are going to get dumped and schools like Wahington State and CU are going to get big pay days. CU is playing Michigan with out a return trip for close to 2 million dollars.

Zona - your team and the word undefeated should never been mentioned in the same paragraph, let alone sentence.  When I read the initial thread header I thought I must have missed something.  Turns out it's AU missing out on competing on the gridiron.  Bear Down Cats! (just don't do it against anyone good)

UA has only won 10 games twice in the last 40 years and never has gone unbeaten in that time while in the regular season.  If 6-6 and 7-5 is your goal then more power to you.  Nevada in 2014 is not a bad team.

Bear Down on this!!!  41-34 and 58-21 'nuff said

+1. It sucks, but poll voters only look at wins, not strength of schedule. The SEC figured this out 5+ years ago.

It has nothing to do with being wimps and everything to do with understanding and playing the game to build your program. Granted, if ASU beats ND and Wisconsin that's a great way to get ranked and gain national prestige, but it's a long-shot bet.

Hard to go undefeated when you go 3-6 or 4-5 in conference every year

The real losers are the Fans and to some extent the Players when you play Teams that are just in it for a pay out. Fans pay good money to watch a contest that is lopsided at best, the players on a D1 Team know the opponent is a laughter also.

I really like what the Big 10/11/12 ?? will start in 2016, if your D1 then play D1 teams, some of them are weaker or new too D1 Classification but at least they have earned the right to compete at the same level.

Some Fans may enjoy going to watch a home team blow out a FCS type Team but I'd just as soon give that ticket away to someone else.

Can't wait to sick Will Sut on Notre Dame and Wiscy.  It would be a waste of time to send him out there against U of Texas, San Antonio and whatever OOC cupcake au schedules.  He is the best, and he will play some of the best.  I would not want it any other way.
