Parrom.. His thug-like behavior finally catches up with him
Remember the guy shoved Ty Abbot violently a couple of years ago ? He did the same against a WSU player yesterday and was was kicked out of the game. He is suspended for the next game also.
Here is a quote from his coach.
" He embarrassed himself, our university, our basketball program, his family ".
Good call, coach, but thugs seldom learn from mistakes.

Re: Parrom.. His thug-like behavior finally catches up with him
I guess you were watching a different game. Parrom retaliated, in a stupid way, to a cheap shot by Lacy. He didn't push Lacy, he back-handed him in the nose.
Parrom needed to find a subtle way to retaliate.

LOL a 1 game suspension for that? Kidding me.
Parrom will do well in the D League or maybe in the Philippines.

Did Miller announce that Parrom is suspended? The NCAA doesn't require a 1 game suspension for a Flagrant 2 personal foul.

Unless Miller holds him out, he will not sit a 2d game for a flagrant 2 (must be for fighting for the 2 game suspension). KP needed to be a little more tactical in retaliating. Yes, he was cheap shotted, but you don't closed fist backhand a player.

Re: Parrom.. His thug-like behavior finally catches up with him
Typical ASU fan taking what Miller said out of context. Here's what he said: "If in fact he committed the foul, he embarrassed himself, our basketball program and his family," Miller said. "Kevin is a senior and he knows better."Hell, if the same thing happened at ASU, Sendek would say something like, "Errrr, he needs to be chopping wood! Ummmm and play in a Day Tight Compartment like folks that buy and not lease! No gold watch for him!" You gals should take some of these. It will help with all the crying and whining. enk64 wrote: Remember the guy shoved Ty Abbot violently a couple of years ago ? Re: Parrom.. His thug-like behavior finally catches up with him
If Miller really believes all those things he said, Parrom shouldn't play another game. That's a senior. You might chalk it up to youth if he was a freshman or sophomore. He's had plenty of time to change his act and he hasn't done it.
If he plays another game, Miller is a hypocrite.

Obviously he doesn't because it's the same stuff he's done for 4 years. If Miller is truly embarrassed, he'll get rid of the source of the embarrassment.

I completely agree. The back-and-forth goes on all game, but smacking a guy in the face only gets them what they want; you out of the game. --------------------------------------------- --- sd4life wrote: RunninDownADream wrote: Did Miller announce that Parrom is suspended? He should be made to read a few of your posts, that would be punishment enough wildaboutcats879 wrote: Typical ASU fan taking what Miller said out of context. Well, here is a food for thought put up by an AU fan :
" The penalty for a flagrant technical foul in NCAA and NFHS rules is immediate ejection of the offending player, plus two free throws and a throw-in for the opposing team. The ejected player is also suspended during the next game played by his or her team.
Hopefully, this sheds more light on this.

Re: Parrom.. His thug-like behavior finally catches up with him
Funny you guys use all sorts of excuses for an old guy like Sendek, saying how he can change. He is the same as he was at NCSU, yet you lemmings keep defending him. But you use some old article on Parrom as if it means something. LOL you desserve what you get. jmwhitener wrote: Got news for you WABC. He committed the foul thus the rest of the statement applies.
Did he feel threatened because he'd never punch anyone.

Parrom and Lyons should square off. They both have shown mean hooks on the court within the last year.

Re: Parrom.. His thug-like behavior finally catches up with him
Taking a break during the halftime show. If I wanted to hear a Beyonce recording, would buy the record. I'm not sure this assessment is correct. Flagrant 2 personal fouls (i.e., when play is active) are distinguished from "fighting" - although "fighting" is a Flagrant 2. I believe the one-game suspension pertains to "fighting", but not necessarily to Flagrant 2 personal's. Also note that Flagrant 2 personal and Flagrant 2 technical fouls are different things. enk64 wrote: RunninDownADream wrote :

Have you figured out how many games you play against Stanford and Cal? Did you book your trip to SF to watch the game? LOL. You ASU fans crack me up. Open your mouths about BASKETBALL and idiocy comes out. jmwhitener wrote: Wildcats fans do not know how to spell

There is no periond at the end of the sentence. ASU fans overlook the important things but they love moral victories! :))))))))) SenorJaap wrote: *Wildcats' (i.e., with the apostrophe)

“We’ll handle it internally but he’ll be disciplined at the highest level possible if in fact was he did is represented” on video review, Miller said. “He embarrassed himself, our university, our basketball program, his family, and it doesn’t always matter what happened before you do that (kind of fouling)" "Since he was ejected for the flagrant two, not fighting, Parrom does not face an automatic suspension for UA’s next game. But when asked if he might keep Parrom out Wednesday against Stanford, depending on what he learned about the incident, Miller said only that “we’ll have to really take a look at that.” http://azstarnet.com/sports/bl...1a4bcf887a.htmlenke64 you are ignorant
