Ruin Greatness?

Posted: 08/30/2014 9:32 AM

Ruin Greatness?

O-line is jumpy
Play-calling is predictable
Offensive tempo is s l o w
Defense is good but Virginia offense is not
Lots of penalties
Fans are full of excuses
Not impressed

I liked Mazzone, but I remembered why I was frustrated with the swing passes. So predictable....
How do I become a nonconformist like everyone else?

Re: Ruin Greatness?

Not a Mazzone fan. Glad he's there. If you have a quick d-line that can tackle and not over pursue, you cut Hundleys effectiveness in half.

Virginia sucks.

Re: Ruin Greatness?

Every coach will cover that this week, that was just a reaction and I bet not 1 in 10 players knew that rule, particularly in the heat of the moment.

I remember an ASU game against SC back in the 80's at the Colosseum where ASU pooched kicked a KO and the receiving team watched it roll dead like it was a punt, even some ASU players were watching it until one of them pounced on it.

Jack got away with a PI. Still fUCLA's D looks very soft.

Prediction: the only way ASU loses to the Ruins is if they shoot themselves in the foot. If Ucla is the best team in the south, the south is over-rated.

Well looks like Virginia's game plan is to shoot themselves in the foot.

UVA should have stuck to the run game. Their passing game stinks.

The Virginia QB is in the early running for the Ucla Heisman.

Ucla is missing it's starting center and you can see that's where the issues are. The OL looks like a hot mess..

Virginias offense is prolific. At the half they're responsible for all 31 points. 21 for Ucla and 10 for Virginia.

Mark May is pissed at Ucla. If ASU and CTG win the South again it will destroy him.

Re: Ruin Greatness?

Wow its shocking to see the offense struggle so bad against the 13th place ACC team.   Man Pac12 taking some lumps here image wise with Colorado and Wazzu losing and this UCLA performance.  That can change if the ruins blow them out in 2nd half.

Bear Down on this!!!  41-34 and 58-21 'nuff said

Klemm can recruit but I don't know if he can coach.

Re: Ruin Greatness?

Not a rule many teams will know. Haller tweeted earlier that when ASU brought in refs to discuss the rules that was one they went over, so at least one team will know that rule devil
