Salt in the wound: UofA wins big and UCLA winning too

Rats up 35-6 in the 3rd quarter.  Thank god we crushed and humiliated them 51-28 otherwise in about an hour they would be here bragging about winning this sad bowl.

Well a BC win would make the Pac12 look very weak, so I can't say I'm disappointed by seeing this score.
Expand CFB playoffs to 8 teams!

They took advantage of the local rent-a-fan service in Shreveport. Anybody see how the rent-a-band went at halftime? Not surprised to see them roll BC. Rats match up pretty favorably with crap ACC schools. 7-5 in the ACC is el lamo. I'm sure rats feel pretty good about ASUs face plant as well

I guess this is good for the Pac12 and if we can finish 7-2 as a league that should get us better early voting for the 6 pac12 schools that should be ranked to start next year.  We should be 9-0 if Leach and Graham had there teams better prepared.

Bowl attendance is really bad this year all over the nation too.  2002 and 2007 Holiday Bowl crowds were way bigger then this year.  The Sun Bowl is half full and there is like maybe 1,000 UCLA fans there if that and that Bowl used to always sell out even if it was two 6-6 teams.  The Advocare Bowl is half empty too with no UA fans hardly at all.  I think Bowl ticket cost are hurting fans when combined with travel and lodging cost.  We had about 15,000 ASU fans last night but its a quick and cheap trip compared to Tucson-Shreveport and LA-El Paso.

Would like to have a big physical QB like Hundley right now. We need to build a fence around this place to keep guys like that at home. In the Holiday Bowl, we tried to get materials to finish building the fence, but I heard the truck caught on fire outside of El Cajones

Kadeem Carey finishes with 165 yds and 2 TDs on 27 carries. Doak Walker award winner and Heisman finalist Andre Williams also had 27 carries but managed only 75 yards. Carey is the best RB nobody ever heard of cause he plays at a school that only cares about its basketball season

Boston College is about the same caliber team as Texas Tech.

I love how you like to smack talk after we kicked your butt and made you guys cry like a little girl with a total domination victory 58-21.  Its like the French pounding there chest after they beat Mali in a war and totally forgetting they lose every other war they are in.  Did you go over to the WAZZU board too and brag even though they kicked the living snot out of you guys too?

At least we didn't close out the season by getting our butts kicked TWICE, on National TV and with Championships on the line!  Do you really think anybody outside of Arizona knows or cares about the outcome of the Territorial Cup game?

Like it or not, the legacy of the 2013 Sun Devils in the National spotlight will be their total failure in the two games that counted most, and seen on ESPN in Prime Time.

But, hey, look on the bright side.  The last two games surely eliminated any chance Texas will pursue your head coach.

Do you really think anybody outside Tucson cares you beat BC in a minor bowl?

I totally agree with this part here.

Was never going to happen.

I would agree that many, many more people saw ASU get stomped by Stanford and T-Tech than saw Arizona blow out BC.

But, does that make you feel better?  If so, you are an idiot.

Re: Salt in the wound: UofA wins big and UCLA winning too

Long term picture for 2014 neither of these Bowl games means much.  ASU and UA are 99% done recruiting so at worst it may cost us any remote shot at Tucker or Cunningham.  For U of A beating lowely BC in a minor Bowl wont boost recruiting.  So we move onto next season and ASU returns most of its offense but loses most of its defense starters minus Bradford, Hood, Fiso and Randle.  UofA loses some studs on D and its QB and top 2 RB's but you guys say there is some talent coming in so I'll take your word for it.  Both teams are looking up at UCLA and USC next year unless we can both find a way to beat them.

??????  WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Again how are you coming up with these conclusions?  When in the hell did I ever say ASU had more viewers then Uofa for the bowl games?  I DID NO SUCH THING!  You were the one who said nobody cares about the T-cup outside the state.  Here are your exact words: " Do you really think anybody outside of Arizona knows or cares about the outcome of the territorial cup game" I said nobody outside the state cares about UofA beating BC.  I SAID NOTHING ABOUT HOW MANY PEOPLE WATCHED BOTH GAMES!! NOTHING!!!  Please quit incorrectly implying things that simply are false and not true.

I think it's funny cause it's the only game you guys care about in football, with the possible exception of the NAU rivalry
