Priest Willis deciding this week
Hey guys, what's the prevailing notion with Willis out in the valley of the sun? I'm not trying to gloat or be sarcastic either, I'm just wondering what you guys are hearing out in Arizona. For what it's worth, I think you land Judge (and he's a good one). I also think it'll be UCLA and ASU battling it out for the South Division next year. Graham has your program headed in the right direction, and I like what you've done in this recruiting cycle via the JC route.

Priest already announced...didn't you hear? He is going to Northern Arizona University. He quoted, "I've always wanted to be a Lumberjack". Oh well, NAU got a good one! Go Devils!

Thank you for displaying class in your thread. Some of your fellow Bruin fans should follow your path. In regards to Priest, he has led SD fans on a speculation roller coaster, with influence of outside fan based not helping the cause. In all honesty, I have no idea where he lands. LSU, your school, and ours all have a shot at him. He has given no indication he is leaning toward any one school. I hope that answers your question.

RE: Priest Willis deciding this week
The only reason I think Willis isn't going to ASU is because they are not on Tahaan as much as LSU and UCLA.

I saw Daniel committed to Ole Miss. That school must have found a new, wealthy booster to be able to afford all that incoming talent.

Re: Priest Willis deciding this week
My guess is that he's pulled strongly to the "football is god" atmosphere of LSU, but the distance from home will factor in. He's a West/SW guy, which will leave him choosing between UCLA and ASU. And ultimately he'll be drawn to the idea of leaving home (he's a Tempe kid) and pledge UCLA. That's my take. I wish he'd choose ASU of course.

RE: Priest Willis deciding this week
If we do miss out on Willis but get Judge to switch to ASU I'd be happy with that trade.

He'll be playing for the Bruins, a decision he'll immensely regret. I look forward to watching ASU QBs light him up every year.
Arizona State Football: Ranked #20 in all-time winning percentage. I believe that makes us top 25.

Re: Priest Willis deciding this week
He will almost surely chose UCLA. I will enjoy insulting him when he returns to play at SDS.

First of all look at his Facebook page and read it. Football is not his God.
Secondly, I and others have hope. This is part of the reason I am a misionary to a country that is only second to Islamic countries that do not accept Christianity. There is always hope.
Thirdly, I do not fear the darkness (of losing Priest) and because of my hope, I for one will continue to talk about Priest commitment to ASU.

85% UCLA 13% LSU 2% ASU
