Watching Syracuse - LeMoyne on SNY

Watching Syracuse - LeMoyne on SNY

LeMoyne is winning 29-27 with 4:45 to go in the first.  They are outplaying and out rebounding the Orange.  Rautins is keeping them in it with 3s.  LeMoyne looks very good.  They have some guys who could probably play D-1.  Same conference as Merrimack (who was picked to finish 1st in the conference), LeMoyne was picked 4th and Stonehill was picked 5th.

The Natives are getting very restless at the Dome.

Syracuse up at the half 37-32.  But it's been a death struggle for them.  Out rebounded by a smaller team.

How fun for Lemoyne.  The lil jesuit school is just up the street.  John Beilien got his start there before moving on to the mighty golden griffins of Canisius.

Epperigin from LeMoyne is a solid player.  He's athletic, aggressive and has long arms, allowing him to play much bigger than he actually is.

LeMoyne looks like a very good team.  I can't believe Merrimack is supposed to be better.

Epperigin is good.  He could play minutes for us right now.

Re: Watching Syracuse - LeMoyne on SNY

LeMoyne hanging tough with a little more than 10 remaining in the game.  Cuse up 49-42.  The Orange do not look that good.  The refs are starting to help them out with some calls.

LeMoyne has had more possessions, but have missed quite a few shots.  Cuse isn't rebounding well, foul shooting well and the D is pretty poor right now.

Syracuse only has 2 fast break points all game.

55-53 Cuse with 9 minutes to go.

LeMoyne missed a layup that would have put them up by 7.  Triche hit a 3 for Cuse.  67-65 LeMoyne with 4:45 to go.

Re: Watching Syracuse - LeMoyne on SNY

Based on the one half that I've watched thus far, it seems as though SU lacks the singular superstar that in the past has drawn alot of attention...openning things up for a strong, supporting cast.

I see alot of decent SU players...but their decent in one or two aspects...no all around superstar standing out to me.

LeMoyne up by 2 with 2:09 to go

I know it's only an exhibition game, but both teams are playing like its regular season.  Cuse does not want to lose this game even though it doesn't count.  Cuse is pressing on D now.

The Freshman Triche looks good for the Orange.

Oh this matters. If this team can hang on it will matter.

Cuse's Wesley Johnson hits a 3.  79-78 with 17 seconds to go. Johnson looks very very good.  LeMoyne missed an easy layup just before the 3.
