Happy Thanksgiving
for all of our counmtrymen. Time to move ahead and solve problems. Need compromise. That includes BO and Harry Reid and Nacy Pelosi. They did not receive a mandate. And, the Tea Party folks need to bend as well. Need to keep our country strong so we'll have much to be thankful for in the future.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
We'll see if Ob is ready for a legit compromise this time.......in 2011 he had a deal with Boehener then upped the anti, wanting even more tax revenue.
My bet is that Ob will take a page from Alinski ("don't compromise with the enemy") and not give too much on tax rates, looking for complete GOP capitulation on that........the rank & file Republican House member would have non of that, meaning we go over the cliff temporarily.......that may force some give on both sides.
Ob is out to change our economic culture to a socialistic society.......can't afford that here as our military budget needs are too huge.......wouldn't work anyway, as it flies in the face of human nature.

Dude, you really need to stop getting your information from the Conservative Entertainment Complex. If I had been as wrong as you were about predicting the election, I would have seriously taken stock of what I was reading and listening to. (Actually I did do this after the 2000 election and it was a smart move.) Oh and maybe subscribe to a course in basic economics. Elections have consequences. Screw the plutocrats and the preachers and the wackos. You can't do business with anyone who would call Obama a "socialist" anyhow. Time for the adults to get tough. Let Paul Ryan deliver his home town in an election and then we might listen to what he has to say.

You have a brain that is twisted and rotten. There are programs that can help you with your addiction. AA and NCADD can help you with dependency problems that are ruling your life. Please contact a Catholic Priest or some other person who you can trust to get you the help that you need. A sober mind would not write something so sinester and hatefull. Denial is always the first sign that problems exist. You need to get help and do it before you end up either in jail or in a hospital morgue. Much of my life has been dedicated to dealing with those who have problems such as yours, and I am only interested in your well being.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
Romney lost NH by 40,000 votes, Virginia by 120,000, Ohio by 100,000 votes, Florida by 90,000...........comes to losing those 4 swing states by just 350,000 votes......had he won all 4, MR would have won the electoral college by 270 to 268.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
Skippy, could you tell me how much alcohol and marijuana you consume in any given day? I am serious about this. I realize now that the person I am dealing with has serious mental impairment issues. Reading between the lines, the anger and the rage in your posts it is self evident and tells me that you are in serious need for detoxification/rehad.
You need to let your brain have a rest and remove the toxins in your head before something happens to yourself or someone else.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste, and from the looks of it your's is in imminent danger of an over load that will destroy what few cells that have not been damaged.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
I listen to the other point of view every afternoon-----Chris Matthews----he's very shallow and more one sided than anyone on Fox except for Hannity.
On Fox you get both points of view on most shows (have liberal contributors)----on MNBC you get some RINOs once in a awhile for a little comment, but for the most part extremely one sided.

He's an idiot. Why are you wasting your time with this? I would think you would like the guy. He reminds me of you. Big old red schnozzola from drinking to much. Goofball, that's what they should call that show of his. Yeah, that's right. He reminds me of you there Skippy.

This is one of the weakest of the weak talking points that have come out since the election. Obama won New Hampshire 52-46. That's 6 points - it wasn't close. Obama won Virginia by 4 points. You know you can't just change 350,000 votes (its actually closer to 370,000 as your numbers are off) in selected states. The entire country would have had to shift 5 points to make that happen. You could make the same (weak) argument that if 350,000 votes flipped in the other direction Obama would have won one of the Dakotas, North Carolina, and Arizona and won a 361 electoral votes. That is nothing for Romney to be ashamed of, but its not a toss up type of election - it would have taken a huge shift to flip the election. This election was close but still decisive. In today's political climate, winning by 4 million votes is significant.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
Fact remains, had the right combination of just 200,000 voters changed their minds in those 4 states......Romney gets elected.
Then too, republicans control the House......have more governors........more state legislatures......hardly a mandate.
