In my humble opinion it is Jr's Ronnie Daniels & Danny Jaramillo.

The others are all fine running backs but these two are in a class by themselves.

I agree whole-heartedly.

Daniels is.....well special! A high level BCS talent.

Jaramillo is tough as nails and has some burst.

Jaramillo is a very fluid runner with great vision and very deceptive speed.

Daniels is one of the most talented skill players to come through NM in sometime.

Since Daniels started running the ball in YAFL he has been one to watch.  I like the Jaramillo kid by Daniels has been proving it a long time.  Daniels is head and shoulders above the rest as a runner.  He is a good kid as well.  I wish there was a component about durability because that is one thing we never talk about, rightly so, but some of these kids who run really take a beating like Matt Sandoval, small guy gets banged around alot. Hats off to him, Daniels deals out a lot of punishment, and Jaramillo, or Smith I dont know havent seen. Be willing to bet same story.

As exciting and jaw dropping as some of the fast, explosive type guys are..........I will always have a special place in my heart for a bruiser /durable RB. Its probably the old OL in me.

I usd to coach a kid named Kevin Gonzales. Not huge at 5'11, 180, 4.8 40. But this kid was a garauntee for at least 4 yards every play( even with no blocking). Not only that but he carried the ball 25-35 times a game.....every game. Needless to say he landed up breaking the schools rushing and TD record but it was just fun to watch him play football.

YAFL/JR. Hig/C team/JV blah, blah, blah.

Varisty Football is the only thing that matters.  Everything else to just to help you get as good as you can at the Varisty Level.

Daniels is a rare talent as is by far the better college prospect of the two, but I would take Jaramillo.  He had a far better soph. more year and has proven to be more durable.
