Aztec

Obviously Aztec is much improved from the start of the year.  How much better have they gotten.  Can they pull an upset in round 2?

Re: Aztec

Aztec has the best QB in the state.  I think they shock a very over-confident Bulldog team.

Re: Aztec

I don't why you say the Bulldogs are overconfident.  What are you basing that statement on.  I can assure you the Bulldogs are not overconfident.  When a team scores 63 points in a game your whole coaching staff is attending, how can you be overconfident.  The Bulldogs have enough playoff experience and a good enough rivalry with Aztec to know better.  The Dogs will be read for a fight.  They have only lost 2 games this year to, arguably the best two teams in the state.  I know Rio Rancho beat Cruces but we will see if they can do it again.  Our Bulldogs know what the playoffs are all about and they will be ready.

Oh and one other thing, be careful who you tout as the best QB in the state.  I agree the best QB in the state will be playing in Bulldog Bowl on that Saturday and he will even be wearing orange, but HE will have an orange helmet on also.  His name his Trevor Eulenbach,  Look at his stats, he has missed most or all of 3 games and still put up huge numbers.  Come on, man!!!!

But Adam Lucero has a State Championship as a Starting QB in his back pocket.  I think Artesia will win this game, but I don't think their better QB in NM than Lucero.

Re: Aztec

Adam is the best QB in the state. He just doesnt have the supporting cast he had last year and he also played injured for the first five games.

As for the game against Artesia I will be wishing for the Tigers, but I think Artesia beat a much better Tiger team in 2010. Aztec's only chance is if some more kids can emerge as play makers to take the pressure off of Adam and Hardin. With that said the winner of this game will play Goddard for the championship. Los Lunas is going down the following week either way.

Clean out that extra room of yours because I will be staying with you.  Yes, I will bring my special math tutoring resources to help you.  From the looks of your postings it is evident that you contiue to use the same faulty algorithms.

Lucero is the best in the state.  He has proved it in the past and will do so again.
I have to admit that your lefty sure keeps compsure, and throws a beautiful long ball on the money,  but he has not faced the likes of the Brotherhood.

Save me some of those Bulldog cream puffs you are so proud of.

Dude, PLEASE!!!!  The only thing I am going to be cleaning is spot on a shelf for the
28th Blue Trophy to rest on December 8th.

As for the best QB, we will know very soon!

Oh, you are on quite a roll there aren't you.  Just because your daddy got reelected for  another four years doesn't mean everything is going your way.

It is uncharacteristic of you to admit you are not so sure of your prior claim of the orange helmeted QB being the best in the state.   Too bad it is too late to edit that post.

I got your PM and yes, I do not think that you reading "Curious George," or "Clifford the Big Red Dog" will get in the way of your math tutoring.

You may as well put that duster away, get your apron on and whip us a batch of your famous cream puffs.

Re: Aztec

First off, I didn't send you a PM so you totally just discredited yourself.  Second, I already know who the best QB in the state is because I have watched him all year in Bulldog Bowl.  If you have the balls to make the trip, you will see him this weekend also.  As for cream puffs, I think you better re-calculate your wins and losses and those of the teams you have played.  Every year the same story, you guys beat your chests all year and come to Artesia and get your asses beat!  It will happen again Saturday. Lastly, nice hillbilly, racist post, Thunderdumb, but I am from the SE part of NM and we voted for Romney down here, it was the North that voted Democrat!

Seriously, nobody would truly believe that you PM'd me.  Just trying to lighten things up a little before I showed up to your place for dinner on Friday night.

Aztec has something that can not be calculated, and you will get the opportunity to witness it this Saturday.  Cheers.

Nice job editing.  You must really be fire up down there.  By the way, I know the voting habits of the counties in this state, and San Juan County is a very dominant red.  Artesia will be 3A soon at this rate.

RE: Aztec Post Rating (2 votes)

I have heard a lot of people many from Artesia who think their back up QB is better than the starter.

Yes, he is a good backup QB and he has helped the team win some games along the way.  He is a class act and accepted his role on the team and contributed very well when he was called upon which is not always easy especially as a senior.  But, if he was better, he would be starting!  Coach Henderson knows Quarterbacks and he would play the best player, especially with him being a senior and Trevor a junior.  With that being said I am very glad Drew is on our side, the young man has done a fine job.

I am finding it hard to see that Artesia has won a game against a solid team other than Clovis.
Anybody?

Artesia rarely starts Jr. QB's...it says a lot about Eulenbach's talent to be starting over Houghtaling.

Adam Lucero is a great talent, but best QB in the state IDK about that. There is no evidence to support that.

Aztec has lost every game this year to anyone with a pulse. I don't agree with the idea that Aztec is good now after starting the season slow....their schedule got easy so they started winning. They played 3 good teams and got whooped.....also lost to average PV in a close game.....and then won 6 games against 6 horrible teams. Maybe they are a lot better now than they were earlier in the year....but we won't know that until this weekend.

No defense of quality wins?  The question was about Artesia's wins.  The statement was not made touting Aztec.  I already know good and well what Aztec has.

RE: Aztec Post Rating (1 vote)

Based on Aztec's philosophy, a win is a win.  There is no such thing as a quality win.  Artesia has 8 wins, how many does Aztec have?  Carlsbad may not be in the playoffs in 5A, but IMO, they would kill Aztec.  They would be the second most physical team Aztec has played.  Carlsbad actually had Goddard on the ropes on Goddard's home field and lost it at the end.  If Aztec played Artesia's schedule their record would be worse than it is.  Deming would probably beat you too!

Once again, true to your name, Thunderdumb!!!
