Will indeed sign with Ole Miss. A lot can happen between now and signing day but I know Ole Miss likes its position.
One national writer (FSU 24/7) has come out and said his source has said he will sign with Ole Miss, and I just heard that there are now family members who are telling people he will sign with Ole Miss over UGA and Bama.
Crazy if true. Nkemdiche is the #1 overall prospect, Chris Jones #2, and Tunsil #3 on 24/7. There's a decent possibility that Ole Miss could land all three.
Looks to be a pretty dramatic signing day for Ole Miss regardless.

If signing day were today, Tunsil would sign with Ole Miss
Today isn't signing day though

So we shouldn't try? We should just take our place as "little ole miss"? Nah... I'm not calling for championships, but I also expect Freeze to coach and recruit for a championship every year --------------------------------------------- --- SoldierBoy10 wrote:

If Ole Miss can get Nkemdiche and other highly rated guys in the trenches and build a deep offensive and defensive line, there's no doubt Ole Miss can compete with the elite teams in the country. That's how Spurrier did it at South Carolina. That's how Texas A&M did it this year.

I can only sit back and wonder how the hell a 7 win team is doing this.....
But seriously, you guys still got Wallace at QB so it's all good. :)

Just ignore fans like that. That's the type of attitude that has been running our programs from years. Anyway, Tunsil could turn out to be the most important of the group. I have never seen better footwork from from a man his size. His feet are so fast!

1) Coaching staff that develops players. 2) Capitalizing on connections. 3) Relentless recruiting. Example: Our starting RT (Pierce Burton) got up on JUCO signing day last year with every intention of signing with Florida. Burton called Freeze and let him know the news, but Freeze wouldn't give up and made one last pitch. Burton changed his mind and ended up going to Ole Miss. 4) Quinessential college town and atmosphere. Note: If you're basing your puzzlement just on a 7 win season, take a look at USC's class.

At some point, I have to step back and just look unbiasedly and ask myself how the hell is this happening? It's very very difficult to think that ALL these guys want to go to Ole Miss over bigger and better schools. But hey what do I know, I'm just a State fan.

clintonarrowfan wrote: But hey what do I know, I'm just a State fan. True. J/K arrow, I've always respected your opinion. It is pretty amazing when you think about it ...I think a lot of it is the Nkemdiche effect, though. Once he started listing them as a favorite and Treadwell as well, other prospects started to wonder what it was about Ole Miss that got some of the elite prospect's attention. If Chris Jones ends up flipping, you can credit a lot of that to the Under Armour All-American week. The hope is that this isn't a one year wonder and that the momentum gained this recruiting season by Ole Miss can be expanded into next year's class, especially if players like Treadwell and Nkemdiche immediately impact our 2013 team.

Re: Numerous sources are starting to say that Tunsil
It's not like OM is Montana St. It's an SEC school that has always been able to match-up with anybody as far as campus, girls, night life. You add that with the fact that Freeze might be one of the beat recruits in the country, and its a successful formula. I'm just scratching my head at people who are so shocked by it, OM has always been able to get good recruits.

Just recruiting guys trying to spice up signing day. Everything is pretty much a foregone conclusion so they have to throw it in there that so-and-so is really really considering someone else and it's not as black and white as we think.

Re: Numerous sources are starting to say that Tunsil
My point was a team that's won what 12 games the past 3 seasons is getting all these top recruits? Nkemdiche was a given. His mom wasn't going to let him go anywhere else but the others are puzzling. Then again when recruits Post pics like Treadwells with a white girl on either side, drink in hand, and then "the money pic" (ahhhhh!!!!) while Freeze preaches character and religion to the parents it's just idk weird. Not to mention C. Jones dad comes out of right field encouraging his kid to go to Ole Miss. Where was he the past ohhh 8 months or so in his recruiting. Chris NEVER mentioned his dad in any of his interviews. It was always mom and grandma then all of a sudden his dad is pushing him towards Ole Miss. Just weird. Seriously though, Ole Miss has a great thing going. I'm not butthurt before I get accused, just weird to me. And USC has it's name and history. --------------------------------------------- --- SchruteFarmsReb wrote: clintonarrowfan wrote: I can only sit back and wonder how the hell a 7 win team is doing this.....
