107-0, beat that South Panola! tonguebiggrin

Do you really believe we haven't played (and beaten) the 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A and 6A champions this year? Couldn't play the 5A champion - oh wait...

football - obviously you're relatively new, SP had a 89 game Football win streak before it was snapped by Meridian - and the Gentry Girls Basketball team went on a 90+ win streak before it was snapped. Oxford is the team to beat in Tennis in the state of Mississippi - the South Panola of Tennis if you will. We always have to travel to teams instead of them coming here. All of the respective class champions want us to come to them because they don't believe Oxford can win on their court, over and over Oxford just flat out crushes them (like 7-0 dual match score and beating each opponent in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 or something very similar, it's rare that they lose a dual match point) every time for the past decade.

You obviously do not follow Tennis at all - I follow each sport my high school team part-takes in - even golf, softball, volleyball and cheerleading - Oxford has not lost in the Tennis playoffs since the inception of the "team" playoff format - meaning a dual match against another school - I don't know if losing is in their vocabulary.

2008, 2009 and 2010 State Champions and they're not done. A bunch of multiple individual State Champions as well - but I'm not going to sit here and list them all.

How dare you ask such a question like that - of course I believe this - I SAT THERE AND WATCHED THEM PLAY!! 107-0 - not a joke, ask anyone - especially those who have fallen to them.
I'm an idiot apparently...

No he didn't. We were not talking about any sport except tennis. Oxford never got screwed. The better team won not because other teams did not use their best players but because of two girls. Sisters to be exact. Louis did not like it because Lindsey Collins beat his international exchange student. The one I was told he recruited to try and win a state championship. Because the Collins girl beat his girl, another school won the championships. By the time little sister came along both Lynn Wood and Louis wanted a different format. I am not saying whether I agree with or disagree with the format. That's a horse for another day. What I am saying is that Oxford did NOT get screwed because other teams did not use their good members until the playoffs. They got BEAT by two girls that everyone in the state knew about.
