I was once a member of a team that beat another team four times in one season. I've also seen good teams beat other good teams more than twice in a season. I understand your thinking because it gets said all the time, but if a team is suppose to be as good as Marshall is then they should still be able to beat WS again. I believe that when a person says it's hard to beat a team more than once, they are basicly just trying to talk themselves into it so they can have some confidence going into the game as a fan or a player.

We beat them twice during the regular season, in the conference finals and then again at north state. We were clearly the better team and we happened to have good games in all four games. That's all that needs to be done if you want to beat a team more than once. If you're the better team and you don't have an off night, you can beat a team ten times in one year.
