Should be a decent game, but I'll still take Marshall by 10+.

This is the 2rd match between these two team. Im out on a limp on this one im going with William Sullivan on this one.It hard to beat a good team 2 times. One thing about WilliamSullivan they wont quit thats how they beat Bassfield. Also thetmake their free throws.

Re: S.V. Marshall vs Williams Sullivan

I've always wondered why people say it's hard to beat a team twice or more than that in a season. I was once a member of a team that beat another team four times in one season. I've also seen good teams beat other good teams more than twice in a season. I understand your thinking because it gets said all the time, but if a team is suppose to be as good as Marshall is then they should still be able to beat WS again.

I believe that when a person says it's hard to beat a team more than once, they are basicly just trying to talk themselves into it so they can have some confidence going into the game as a fan or a player.

If you're asking me if the team we beat four times was good then I would say yes. They were the second place team in our region. We beat them twice during the regular season, in the conference finals and then again at north state. We were clearly the better team and we happened to have good games in all four games. That's all that needs to be done if you want to beat a team more than once. If you're the better team and you don't have an off night, you can beat a team ten times in one year.

Same when I played, but we end up playing a team five times and won all five meeting. Each meeting was closer each time we played. Our final meeting was at the district tournament were a last second, second chance bucket determine our game. The referee, being apart of that game, was in the way and cause the ball to become loose with less than 10 seconds left. Then they was also the second place team in our district that season.

Agreed also we had a year like that but we played Newton 6 times in 1 year & could never beat them. We were clearly the best 2 teams in the state. They beat us 2 times in the regular season games, also at the ec tournament,in the division tournament,in the south state championship and the state championship. It just seemed like they would always catch a break somewhere in the game.

Does he not have better offers?  He is better than a JUCO talent at guard.

I'll take Marshall by at least 8. More than likely double digits
