State championship prediction thread?

State championship prediction thread?
I haven't seen one yet, so here goes. Since playoffs in three classes start this Friday, let's go ahead and predict the winners of all six classes. Here's mine. If you don't like them, I don't care. 6A - South Panola over Meridian 5A - West Point over West Jones 4A - Itawamba AHS over West Lauderdale 3A - Tylertown over Aberdeen 2A - West Bolivar over Bassfield 1A - Will edit soon. Honestly don't know yet. |

6A--Meridian over SP (round 4) 5A--West Point over Moss Point (battle of the "points") 4A--Noxubee over West Lauderdale 3A--Charleston over Tylertown 2A--West Bolivar over North Forrest 1A--really no idea--guess I'll take Ray Brooks Meridian Wildcats/Troy Trojans/Pittsburgh Steelers

Remember what bassfield did to puckett earlier this year. Bassfield will win 2a in a landslide. 3a will come down to aberdeen and tylertown. Tylertown is favored but aberdeen is for real. 3a will be very close. Noxubee takes 4a again. Defense win championships. West point is favored to win 5a but west jones and wayne county are for real. Any three of those teams can win. I"ll take south panola in 6a b/c of their strength of schedule. Madison central is for real as well but with south panola losing last year, they will bring in title #8. Class 1a, watch out for nanih waiya, they"re big and physical as they come. They"re one of the very few teams that went to weir and pulled off a win.

4A - Shannon over Lawerence co
3A - Tylertown over Charleston
2A - West Bolivar over Bassfield
1A - Durant over someone.

I hope you don't really believe that bassfield will win 2A in a LANDSLIDE. They didn't LANDSLIDE N. Forrest earlier and I can promise you Scott Central will have something to say about it as well and don't overlook Taylorsville.
