Initially I thought Louisville would handle Pontotoc in the first round since they are playing at home. I'm having serious doubts about Louisville winning this one now.

I know I have been down on Louisville since friday night ,but I CAN NEVER GO AGAINST LOUISVILLE.

 Hello bigcat, well let me tell you a little about pontotoc, on the 23rd of October they gave the Itawamba Indians all they wanted, Itawamba scored in the last minute to win that game. Pontotoc has a very good QB and a good RB and a coup;e of good WRs they are not your typical # 3 seed team. They are a very good football team, one that is capable of pulling a very big upset. Please don't look over this bunch. My friends from Louisville beter make sure that the cats have their "A" Game on for this one because if they don't well its a long time until next August.

Hummmmm......It's DO or DIE for the Wildcats this week. Not really sure what to think of this game after the Amory lose. Give a big hand to Amory because they stuck around the whole game & their coaches made the right calls to win. So a big game @ RE Hinze this Friday nite. It's the playoffs & Louisville has always done very well year after year @ this point of the season. I hope that our big play makers will want to continue the next week & step it up this Friday or get the round balls out !!!   Good luck Wildcats.......GATA GATA !!!!

it seems to me and hurts me say that i think louisville has lost their will and desire to play. i think the pride has left about 80% of the team. i love my cats and will cheering like a mad man come this friday night, but i think this one will not go like i want it to. i really dont understand whats wrong with the boys.. we can play one good half, but we cant play the second half.. maybe not making good adjustments???? not sure, but we are not a second half team.

The Cats are an enigma this year.  Not sure what's going on but I haven't seen or heard anyone say that this team is to be reckon with come playofff time.  I'm a die hard Wildcat fan and will always be. I'm also a realist!! This team and coaches have under achieved this year. This team should be no worst than 9-2 this year but sit at 7-4. Why?? I'm not sure if the coaches can answer that question. Now its a new season and past Louisville teams have thrived in the playoffs.  We had adversity last year and that brought the team closer together.  The same thing can happen this year but it starts now.  Louisville will have a chance in the playoffs because they have the one key ingredient you need to win at any level and in any sports, TALENT.  As long as you have talent, you have a chance to win.  Other things go into winning but talent is mandatory ingredient in winning championships... Louisville's problem is getting that talent to play at a high level every week. I think  they'll be ready Friday night to redeeem themselves and this season.   If we play hard on Friday, we'll win.  Going with the Cats in one..

I believe that this will be the best 1st round playoff game in Class 4A. Louisville is coming off the upset by the Panthers of Amory. Pontotoc is coming off a less impressive win than I thought it would be over North Pontotoc. I think this game will be very close. However, I will take Louisville at home by one touchdown.
