Signing Day 11/14/12 


The Colorado Chaos Basketball Club is proud to announce that Lucas Adams (6'0" PG Frederick HS 2013) has signed his National Letter of Intent to play his college basketball at the Western State College. Adams signed his NLOI at a ceremony at his high school at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14th. Adams is a very smart pure point guard who is a tremendous passer and does a great job of controlling came tempo. He also shoots the ball well and is a tough defender. Congratulations to Lucas and his family.

Carlton Hurst (6'3" SG Aurora Central HS 2013) has signed his National Letter of Intent to play his college basketball at Colorado State University. Hurst signed his NLOI at a ceremony at his high school at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14th. Hurst is an elite level athlete who is one of the most talented scorers the state has seen in quite some time. He scores well attacking the rim and is a good shooter from mid-range and beyond the stripe. He is also a great ball handler and passer who can produce highlight level plays at any time

Zach Rusk (6'3" CG ThunderRidge HS 2013) has signed his National Letter of Intent to play his college basketball at the Colorado School of Mines. Rusk signed his NLOI at a ceremony at his high school at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14th. Rusk is a physically strong wing who scores well at all three levels and can play multiple positions on both ends of the floor. He is also an aggressive defender with tons of upside.

Dezmond James (6'4" SG Ponderosa HS 2013) has signed his National Letter of Intent to play his college basketball at the Air Force Academy. James signed his NLOI at a ceremony at his high school at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14th. James is a versatile wing who scores well going to the rim and defends multiple positions well. He rebounds very well from his position and should be a better college player than high school player if he continues to improve at the same rate.

Justin Smith (6'6" SF Lewis-Palmer HS 2013) has signed his National Letter of Intent to play his college basketball at the Idaho State University. Smith signed his NLOI at a ceremony at his high school at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14th. Smith is a long wing who can defend multiple positions and score well at all three levels. He is a bouncy athlete and good shooter with tons of upside.

Austin Sparks (6'8" CF Fairview HS 2013) has signed his National Letter of Intent to play his college basketball at the University of South Dakota. Sparks signed his NLOI at a ceremony at his high school at 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14th. Sparks is a long and athletic forward who runs the floor well. He is a good rebounder and shot blocker who makes a ton of good things happen around the rim on both ends of the floor. He has a ton up upside and should be able to contribute early for the Coyotes.
