GISA Track and Field Results

GISA Track and Field Results

OK GISA folks it's time to get those meet results posted somewhere.  1 week down and have only seen results of DWS v WW in the Albany Herald and SEA has top SEA finishes on their web site.

Nothing in the Macon paper (too full of round ball tournaments!) and nothing on FPD, TSA, MdS etc web sites (though there is at least a place for it if they would just post it up there!).

Come on, get that info out there GISA!  Post top finishes/best times here if nothing else.

Re: GISA Track and Field Results

Sherwood runs today at de Sales. However, only a few girls are running due to most play girls soccer and they were all in Tampa until 330 this morning. The guys are strugling, too. Nile Knapp has been out for two weeks with a bad flu. Someone said at the baseball game yesterday that he has yet to jump a hurdle or really practice any running. Cannady is just getting over mono and Mattox has been out for a week with the flu. Coach Rock only gets the 20 plus soccer kids and baseball kids about an hour a week. I'm hoping they can get the kids ready by region.

Re: 12 March Meet at DWS (and partial TSA meet results)

Lamar from WW and smith from Deerfield should have a big S on their chests. Both flew high in the air over the bar into a wind. Deerfield had a second kid do very well also (Boy) Conway looked very good also for the DW girls team. Shiver from WW had a big day also. WW is starting to get into shape and will continue to improve leading up to state. Tift Area had a girl finish 2nd in the pole vault that looked very good also. In the 4 x 400 relay the final leg of WW and DW was almost worth the price of admission. Clack held off shiver for the win. Congrats to DW on the team win and to WW on the strong showing. Well run meet by Deerfield and it's coaches.
