BPH, they sit there and beat and scream and chant like a bunch of girls. Hey they even had an 80 year old coach with a full beard sitting there screaming at our pitcher.

Oh, so this so called "Softball team" beat you guys twice, when no other team could do it once all year? maybe they should just make you play softball teams and your record would be 6-18, if that is your red elephant's kryptonite.
All I do is win win win no matter what

Columbus Will Repeat as State Champs

Regardless of where the game is played or how the fans act, the Blue Devils will prevail. This Team has incredible depth to go along with numerous D1 players and will not be denied. Book it! cool

Not so fast...

Ringgold is scorching hot coming into this series. Although Columbus is seasoned in the big game it's hard to best a team that's playing like the Tigers are.
Football: Region 7-AAA Champions (2011)
             Playoffs: Elite 8 (2011,2012)
Baseball: Region 7-AAA Co-Champions (2011)
             Playoffs: Elite 8 (2011, 2012)
Go Bucs! "Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose"

I was thinking Allatoona was 2-0 against Ringgold

Toona may lay claim to an exception to that statement.

Ringgold is to be congratulated on making it again to the big dance.  I wish I could be more optimistic about their chances against Columbus.  In baseball, there's always a chance but in this case it is somewhere between slim and none..

According to most people, Ringgold had about the same chances of beating Gainesville.

Re: Hey Columbus...

You kids play nice now ! If a team in 6 or 7 AAA even made it to the play offs, that  should be considered a good season. Very tough region. Congrats to all teams !!

Re: Hey Columbus...

That's right but there is a chance ringgold could pull this off.....they are hot and on the move and one little pitcher isnt going to stop them. If i can remember KC pitched in 2010 against ringgold and ringgold ended up winning 8-2. This team is better and more sound than the 2010 team so columbus needs to get ready.noidea

The train is coming

Well ... it's best just to throw the past out... IMHO...

because... first... the game you spoke of was last year in 2011 not 2010(when Ringgold was swept)... second... KC left game one after 6 1/3 giving up 4 runs during that period (the other 4 belonged to reliever)... third... Crownover pitched that G1 against KC for Ringgold.... fourth... ya might wanna check who came in in relief of Cross in G2 last year... Cross was pulled in G2 with Ringgold leading 8-5 and needing just 3 outs to sweep the devils - Columbus scored 4 in the bottom of 7th and won 9-8.

I'm not making any predictions.... I think it's gonna be a great series.  I'm just trying to point out that it would be wise not to base any perceived "chances" on Monday  ... on past experiences between these two. And honestly.... I think that tact(throwing out the past) .... benefits Ringgold more than it does Columbus. Good Luck.

RE: Hey Columbus...

Nope.. PBH is correct. It was last year in 2nd round you are speaking of. They split first day when we had em on the ropes and couldn't put em away. And we did take bus down to Columbus last year. Trust me on this one.
