Re: model/gac girls score?
Model was up 55-44 with 330 left to play, but GAC wouldn't quit. Great 4th qtr and game by #1 Means. Models lone senior #12 was outstanding.

What happened in the last 2:30? I left then and Model was up 7 or 8. Model is fun to watch...

cevlg3, No offense, but how could you leave? :) GAC just wouldn't go away that easily. They fought to the end. Somebody said the radio announcers were saying they sure were glad that time ran out because in another minute ... GAC only had one time out over the last minutes and several players fouled out trying to stop the clock. Hats off to Model and best of luck in Dalton on Friday!

You're probably right, how could I leave!?! Live in Gordon County and hadn't been home all day after a long day a work and thought it was over. 3rd time seeing Model play this year. I love how they do things! Congratulations to a top notch program...maybe playing not to lose instead of playing to win? I have a hard time finding anything negative about their situation. Also, congrats to GAC on a great season...

Coach Echols is a fun coach to watch. She was a lot of fun to watch as a player too. IMO her coaching has improved since the first couple of years, even though she had great talent and success even then. The big post player who was in foul trouble in the first half and basically sat, started getting the ball in the second half and contributed big. The Sr. #12 also had a terrific game.
