Saban his great for Alabama and they should be very proud of their success. I am just happy the Iron Bowl is at home for us this year Agree on most of your points about Saban. They winning coach coach thing is questionable though.
And while you stand on your aubarn high horse, lets not forget that AU's last MNC is attributed to an offensive star that got kicked out of Florida and had some other issues surrounding him, and a defensive star that couldn't qualify for college ball without having his grades changed.
You act as if all college football teams don't have issues. Georgia is no different. I am sure that they recruit only stand up young men. They just need to check their pockets when they leave. I coached Charles Johnson all of his recreational years, Leonard Pope graduated from my alma mater and his wife is good friends with mine, and I now work with Isaiah Crowell's uncle. I have two of the three guys numbers in my phone right now. (don't personally know Isaiah but I know alot about him and his short time at GA) You ready to talk stories about how clean of a program Georgia has??????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????? By the way, How are all those returning secondary members for UGA doing? Did they have a good spring?

Sure they all have issues. But when was the last time Richt had mercenaries play for after being kicked out of other places and only spending 4 months on campus?

Thats awesome. Shoot me a pm and we can set up a conference call with them. I'm from the same area that you and Pope graduated from and remember those Americus High/Early County games. Those were wars.
By the way, How are all those returning secondary members for UGA doing? Did they have a good spring?
Guess they did. None of them got hurt.

I'm not sure what you're getting to in this post. So you know those guys, so that means you've got dirt on UGA? Tell you what...not only do I know Charles (teammates in high school) and whatnot, but I'll be helping him do some charity work and camps this summer. I'd be glad to tell him that his old rec coach is using his name to dig at his alma mater. I'm sure he'd appreciate that.

Sorry but I did not know that someone reading a thread on a high school vent about college football would take a ragging thread to the level that you did. I named 3 different players from 3 different high schools so that people that know who I am on this board could not come up with their own assumption (like you did) of who I was speaking of. If I had just mentioned that I knew stuff about UGA then people from Hawkinsville that know me would assume Charles, people from Americus would assume Leonar, and of course people from Columbus, well you get the picture. Example since you went to school with Charles, If I were to say that I had stories about the Hawkinsville Walgreens and you knew anything about me then you could only assume that my source was the star of one of the best youtube football hits in high school history. I will leak something about Walgreens, they sell drugs. Look mr serious, I have stories from UGA, Auburn, Florida St., Middle Tenn. St., Georgia Southern, Valdosta St., Albany St., Ft. Valley St., Wofford, GA Military, and loads upon loads from South Carolina. I would never share any so called "dirt" on any of these schools. I could joke for days on end about things that are public. Fulmers Cup etc... Hence the poke about the ipod situatin at UGA. This was a thread to pick and have fun with other fans. The point was that the same problems exist at every school. Including Hawkinsville High School. I have been blessed to have coached many super athletes from 4 different cities. I have developed many great relationships with most of them because I could relate to their everyday life and struggles. I see and hear what goes on in college these days. I may rag schools in fun but that is the end. It's was in fun. Back to Charles, If you went to high school with Charles and played any sport in Hawkinsville from the time he was 9 then I know you as well. (especially if you played football or basketball) If you tell me which charity or camp and give me a hint to how I can spot you I will try and meet you there so we can discuss this with Charles. Even though I have not seen him in person since UGA put the smack down on Auburn. This could be fun

He'll be bringing a handful of NFL guys with him (including Julius Peppers). The basketball camp will be held that Friday (22nd) and football the next day, followed by a cookout at the high school. Hopefully that'll bring some kids from all around the middle Georgia area...and we'll try to make it nice so they'll stay.

I hope that the post did not come off that way. I would never travel 2 hours to get in a confrontation with anyone. Especially over a message board. Not to mention I have too much respect for Charles and Hawkinsville High School (and probably Devil for that matter). I would seriously want to meet Devil because I am quite positive we know each other. I love catching up with any of the kids(now men) that touched my life while I lived in Hawkinsville. Besides my fighting weight is around 250 and I am about 295 as we speak since my surgery. Not a good 295 either. Anyone that can run in circles for 5 minutes straight has the edge on me right now.
