Speaking of Rings, Tom Shane, and SNAFU's....
I just have to share this with all my vent friends. Most of the old timers know my story. My lovely bride of over 25 years completely poluted both my boys during our child-rearing years and they ended up at UGA.... one has since graduated and the other is getting closer. Well ... and this is the God's honest truth.... yesterday we received this postcard in the mail.... Here is the card:  And.... here is the other side of the postcard....  Now... maybe it's just me.... but I'm thinking either: 1) Somebody at Balfour has a "wicked" sense of humor or 2) George P. Burdell has more pull than I thought or 3) The marketing folks at UGA "close" deals in the same manner as HSlegend Whatever the case.... ya gotta wonder how many thousands of these babies got mailed out!  |

Took my younger son to GT Jr day a couple of weeks ago . One of their points of interest is that 1 out of 6 Tech grads are millionaires , so maybe ordering a techie ring would be a good carreer move ? |

My son went to Tech, graduated in 2010 and had 4 job offers before graduation. I can tell you, most of his friends who went to other schools, did not have that same result. A degree from GT is really worth something. If you don't believe me, ask Bum, he is one of those "1 out 6 guys".

They actually give...
diplomas at UGAG???  When I graduated from Georgia College in the mid seventies!!! My former roommate had left for UGAG on academic probation!!! Several quarters later, he returned proclaiming he had made DEAN'S LIST!!!***ROTFLMAO*** |

Must be a new batch of those cards made, we got one about a month ago and it was correct. That one you have, both sides, should be placed in a frame...hilarious.
The prices were rather high too, at least I thought so. I told him lets get one after he passes the Bar. :)
