Can't believe the crying over Buford

Can't believe the crying over Buford

I'm a new member and just reading through these post I can't believe people not giving Buford credit. People don't understand the "The Buford Way" our boys just simply out work out hustle other teams. It's our way the Buford way. If you don't understand our community and our work ethic then you will never understand. Buford has done nothing but work hard and dominate single A double AA and now we are going to make AAA our red headed step children. Unless you understand our work ethic then you will never be able to compete period. Stop complaining and just take it like a man. "The Buford way" that's how we do. 🏈👅🏈

If they come in as All Stars they come in the Grammar and Middle School. It's their parents decision to where they want to send their kids to school, not yours.  You are so pathetic.

It's comments like that which makes people not respect Buford. Outwork and hustle more than any team. Give me a break.

Re: Can't believe the crying over Buford

how many starters on this years team actually live in the city of buford??? I am sure there is no way to confirm the number, but i am sure it isnt anywhere near 100%...

So, I am also sure that it is a little more than the weight room.....

I really doubt you outwork the boys at PC nor your region mates at North Hall. we also have year round weight room training, we make it happen with 100% of the team living within the borders of PEACH County..

Now, I am also sure that you work as hard or harder than most, your school and tradition helps draw talent, and your staff has you prepared to win in any situation.

BUT it is rediculous to say it is merely due to you outworking, out coaching, ect... shut off the stream of talent outside of the city of buford and you WONT see the same results.. You will still win games and region banners, but you would not dominate like you do now.. I guarantee that you would not have won it all this year with the talent you lost from last year without the kids outside of the district lines..

Sounds like a troll to me.

A question I've asked many times and never had an answer.  If an exceptional ball player who is also very poor and wants to play at  Buford ( or is wanted to play at Buford), how does he pay the tuition?

What kind of question is that Bass?

IF this "exceptional athlete" lives inside the city limits then he can attend Buford City Schools and play for the Wolves, IF this "exceptional athlete" lives outside the city limits and can't or won't move into the city limits they can apply and interview for admission and if accepted pay the $2500 tuition.

I dont understand how much simpler it could be. IF the tuition can't be paid, the "exceptional athlete" wont attend Buford or play for the Wolves.

Re: Can't believe the crying over Buford

I happen to live on Buford and have all my life. I know more about Buford football than anybody you know. I do know that success breads success. And for peach co fans I'm sorry ur chances for a state title have been greatly diminished. We are not going to let up, not going to apologize. If you don't live here I don't expect you to understand The Buford Way.

One of the best LB/ FB on the team last year had to leave due to the economy. He played alot as a 9th and 10th grader would have been a great plus for the team this year also. Buford lost him because of tough times, families have to make tough choices. Didn't hear a lot of crying over him leaving the program, just wished him luck. He helped out a school down the road ,great plus for them. Wish the kid another great year nexr year. Now if we gave scholarships, he would still be in green and gold.

Sorry for the long answer, some will belive it some won't, his name doesn't need to be put out there, it's private for him and his family, and man we could have sure used him in crunch time. Not all tuition students stay, most do, some can't. Bottom line you gotta pay to stay unless you live in the city limits.

It is what it is, I am what I am
