They don't seem to realize.... we return.... Torin walker, Shawn Jones, Nieko Hunter (who I think looks much better than we've seen) , Kerry Hammond's, and Tweety Knight.... plus another couple of juco guys and some promising freshmen.

They talk like we're going from a 30 win team to a sub-500 squad from this year to next. They obviously don't know we've got a very good core coming back, solid recruits coming in, and an NC State transfer who will be eligible for 3 seasons going forward.

For us to have a rep as the worst fan base in the country, we sure must be a lot more recognized around the country than I thought we were! Ha! Sounds like they were impressed (jealous) with how many fans we took to a road bball game. I'd say they're probably not used to an opposing team bringing so many fans to their campus since all of their big games are played in Nashville.

You can bitch and gripe as much as you like but you will never ever have as many championships, wins and NCAA banners hanging in that low rent glass shack as EA Diddle has.
With that our of the way most WKU fans would like to keep the series next year. Then we will resume conference play in CUSA!

You've got it all wrong. They added MTSU for the Nashville TV Market. They will be adding WKU for all of the championships, tradition and banners. That way CUSA getting a TV market in MTSU and a tradition rich program in WKU.

I think CUSA would go after Louisiana or Arkansas State first, over WKU. Especially ASU if Tulsa leaves. They'd be a big draw, I would think. stAte is packing their football games and their basketball would get a boost too, especially with LT nearby. In any case, I've been a little shocked with how disrespectful WKU fans have been. Obviously they're just upset about the Raiders sweeping the series, but still... Even when I went last year, their fans seemed pretty respectful for the most part but there were a few who yelled obscenities at us. Any fan base has bad apples. Seems like they come out in droves in rivalry games though LOL

Good grief. We've got to keep this rivalry going. Every school needs another one to hate right? USC/Clemson. Michigan/Ohio St. Auburn/Alabama... We may have not liked losing to North Texas and Troy at times, but we've got some real hatred on both sides of the border with WKU! It was great seeing the student sections battle it out on Twitter this week. 100 Miles of Hate! They call us MUTS, we call them Goat Toppers. I love it. (said the fan whose team has won 8/9 in basketball and on national tv in football last season)
