It's the freaking Sun Belt Conference Championship Game and it's only on ESPN3? That's bullcrap.

And THAT is why we need to add teams to get to divisions and a REAL championship game...

The problem is there is no time slots availiable.  I guess there are hoops games and other things already on the networks.

Rest assured, if it was WAC, MAC or Coosa, the game would have gotten picked up.

This "championship" game was very much a possibility weeks ago. Our SBC folks cannot wait until the last minute to get something picked up.

At the end of the day, though, MT will have to take care of themselves, bowl-wise or other. That's what the Cajuns did by accepting the Nola bid and I applaud them for it.

Too bad MT cannot send our $ multi-million  HD TV production truck to Jonesboogie.

As you can tell, I'm a little frustrated (and I do get ESPN3).

I have travelled to every MT game this year except for FIU, and doesn't look like I'll be able to get to Jonesboro.

Kind of a wasted opportunity by the Belt to showcase our Top Two programs (this year).

In the past, the Sun Belt had "floating" games at the end of the year, that were picked up with an option. I didn't see this deal at the beginning of this football season when they had the media day PDF release. I expected any kind of de-facto championship game not to be aired.

The same thing happened when FIU and Troy played for the Sun Belt Championship 2 years ago. No TV.

Same day I was flipping the channels and noticed freakin' Elon vs. Wofford (or some similar game) on television .

one issue is that ncaa 1-aa playoffs are in full swing this weekend. Bunch of those games are pre-slotted for espn and espn2. Those cant get bumped. cbssports has the contract with coosa. the ONLY viable option would be CSS or Fox sports.

It's not better if you have DirectTV. In that case it is probably blacked out on ESPN 3 and you have no option to watch the game. As it is, I can plug the HDMI cable from my computer to my big screen and watch in comfort. I do wish our HD crew would be there.

If this game ends up being blacked out, I think all MT fans are gonna be pretty pissed off since this is really a championship game. I don't think it will because I watched the ASU/Memphis game on ESPN3. They might have a student based TV production deal there too. Who knows?

The only time I've seen a game blacked out on ESPN3 is if CSS is carrying the game. I assumed that it gets blacked out because of CSS's contract. But I'm not an expert at this subject, so if there's another reason it could be blacked out tell me know so I can make appropriate preparations!

Even if it is blacked out you can watch the game on firstrowsports.com...not sure if it is "legal" but it works and is free.

I am as pissed off as anybody about our game on ESPN3 only.  It sucks big time.

So what establishment in the B'oro will step up and find a way to put it on?  Someone tell me and I am there.

All it take is Apple TV ($50) and an ipad and you can watch it in HD.

Thx for that response but the question still remains. Where is Blue Raider Central for the SBC Championship Game being shown locally?
