Did Anybody Get the License Number
on the Mack truck that plowed through NoTex last night? Or, maybe it was an A1 Abrams tank that hit them.

RE: Did Anybody Get the License Number
No...it was a bunch of young, mad Cajuns...angered by a bad attitude, overrated supposed future star...who decided to make him and his teammates pay for their rudeness and overall bad behavior. That was FUN to watch!!

Same Mack Truck went though the Hoax last night, feathers are still raining down in the Cajun Dome.

Re: Did Anybody Get the License Number
I don't know if I have ever seen a 24 to 0 run. I was surprised Coach Richard did not call a timeout to try to stop it. I was looking at the Monroe press staff and radio crew during this time. They did not look very happy.

Henery Hoax feathers....
A whole new bunch of Cajuns on the floor this go around. This helps make up for the "debacle in the dome" near the end of last season.

Re: Did Anybody Get the License Number
Destin, you are right in that the last time we played ULM in the Dome there was dissension. That was the senior night embarrassment that led to the suspensions and ultimate transfers. These current guys don't always play well and they struggle on the road. However you can't deny they give it their all every time out. They just need another legitimate inside player to start giving lots of teams trouble at home and on the road. Coaches know that and they are focusing on that aspect for recruiting.

I think during that run they only had one time out left, and it was not going to change the dynamics.

RE: Did Anybody Get the License Number
The effort shown last night on both defense and in transition was pretty amazing. I have never seen a Cajun team play harder than what I saw last night.
And Elfrid had a move last night where he faked twice to his right...then went left and slashed to the goal. Even Mrs. Red caught that one and said..."amazing". The defender is still looking for his panties.

RE: Did Anybody Get the License Number
Somebody posted that if Marlin keeps the core group of young Cajuns together for a couple seasons more and fills our inside needs, we will again see the kind of UL basketball success we all remember.
If the younger players pick up anything at all from Bryant Mbamalu this season, we have to get better. Brian Hamilton and La'Ryan Gary clones would help too.

RE: Did Anybody Get the License Number
I went over to the ULM board to see what the reaction was to getting blown out. There were a total of 4 posts and two (respectful ones) were from one of our fans. They started the thread by remembering last years game here which claimed that result began some good luck for them with a good baseball season and winning football season which followed. If that trend continues, they won't have many good things happen in 2013. We are not happy with our season but at least a few people are paying attention
