Cashmere Wright Notes

Apparently there was a left shoulder injury before the knee injury. I wasn't aware of this as I think it is just coming to light. This could explain some things as I thought his movement looked ok once he came back. Sure hope he continues to heal up for tourny-time. Actually a decent right-up of last night's win from Koch with Cash's injury as well:

Also, congrats big-time to Cashmere Wright for becoming UC's ALL-TIME STEALS LEADER!!!!! Well done. Remember Darnell Burton being real talented at that.

i heard mick mention it after the nova game to. what i don't understand is, cash hurt the shoulder against oregon. he had a stretch of great ball after that injury. maybe it is worse now? or maybe mick is just trying to have his back during his current shooting slump?

it's ashame the half court offense depends so heavily on cash being able to shoot well. because he can still have a positive impact when the shots aren't falling, as the steals illustrate. he also has alot of deflections, which i know mick loves.
