The half concludes with the BIGGEST BS play I've seen in a long time: Nova player dribbles right outside the arc, covered tightly (Jackson maybe?) and the guy falls down. Rolls sideways. Then gets up on his knees. Then chucks the ball over his head...ALL WITHOUT TRAVELING!!!!! Then the ball is caught and shot mid-air as the horn blows and it hits rim, then backboard, then in. UC up 3. wow.

Some football broke out on court with no fouls being called. That was interesting. Cash got hit low by one and high by two at the same time while shooting, then two other tackles happened chasing the loose ball.

i lost my mind on that play. the way we have been going, i was worried that was the back breaker and we'd lose.

nice to see a strong second half and finally a win going away. defense was improved, but i also thought the offense had some spurts of good ball movement which led to better shots. and we finally made some 3's.

i don't know what mick's deal was in the postgame saying defense won that game. just nonsense out of the head coach. need good play on offense, defense, and on the boards to reach the teams full potential. the better offense last night led to the blowout. if it was just d it would have been the typical grind it out game, in doubt til the last minute.
