we're scrappy.  biggrin  Thanks.

USF's president sounds like she has it together, she's not cowering.  Scrappy conference, always pushing.

Yes, but much, much, much too late - forget Tulane, should have gone separate ways 3-4 years ago.  More then a "little" late now! banghead

If that is true then why did all of the C7 schools vote "yes" to admit Tulane? Per Aresco the vote to admit Tulane was a unanimous 10-0.

By the point the Tulane vote took place, the C7 already knew they were leaving the BE together (they'd been having talks behind the scenes well before they announced they were all leaving together), so they didn't care if Tulane was admitted and went ahead and voted yes.

Exactly!  But, I thought UC abstained.  That would have made it 9-0-1, correct?

Anyway, Tulane might not prove such a bad addition.  Now that the BE is on the other side of the fence, we need a "bitcher-moaner" type like Cowen to "set the power 5 straight" tongue pirate cool

RE: Two very interesting articles

Those reported votes are never accurate in reality. The ACC said UL was unanimous..it absolutely wasnt. At least 3 and maybe 4 voted for UConn in the intial vote.
