Not a lot of buzz out there anywhere.   Lot of people have given up after losing two in a row.  I am afraid to see the crowd tomorrow.  I will be there wearing red.

Crazy... we are 5-2 with a young team.
Our losses are to two teams ranked in the Top 26 in the country BY a grand total of 9 points.
Its like folks have lost their minds.

Agreed.   I have commented in the past and stay maintain that many people in Cincinnati don't know how to properly support college football.    There are only 6-7 home games a year.  I guess I would understand if we were 2-5 with narrow victories over FCS schools but that is not the case here.   Years like 2009 don't happen every year even for the elite programs in the country.   This team projects to win at least eight games this year and I would imagine 90% of the FBS programs in the country would be pleased as punch  with that result.  People beeching about Butch Jones because he decides to stick with his guy need to get over it and support the Cats.

I admit my enthusiasm has waned, but it's only because at 5-0 I got really excited and this was a big letdown.

With that said, I need to be a big boy and get over it.  I'll be there cheering on the Bearcats Saturday, as loud as ever.

It doesn't help that it's supposed to rain.

I wouldn't call Cincinnati an awful sports town. We're just one that's used to disappointment. Haven't had a whole lot to cheer about the past two decades. Regardless, the turnout isn't terrible today. Not a great game though. Both teams playing poorly. UC's turnovers are killers.
